Joe and Sue handled the entire electrical contract of our extensive half-house remodel and did so with aplomb. After some initial issues with the plans, the installation was seamless and both were in regular contact with us to ensure that our expectations were met. They were among our best contractors and we have been disappointed to find that they have not been able to work on "Phase II" of the renovation, but will continue to recruit them whenever we need electrical work done.

Mr. Ferricci and his associate Sue were excellent in their attention to detail and worked installing fans and chandelier in my 100 year old house - with no damage to the plaster. They have worked professionally on all the projects I have had them do.

I emailed Joe Ferricci, via Angie's List, for a quote.  He spent 30-45 minutes with me, at my house, going over the work to be done and the various alternative approaches (basically, there were three options: try to use an existing breaker slot--which might be straightforward or not, depending on what the previous owner did in the box--correct the original box's topography and put in a whole new main box, which would be more expensive, or add a 6-slot auxiliary box, which would cost less than rewiring and replacing the main box, more than trying to squeeze the breaker into a remaining slot, and be the most straightforward approach, since there would be no previous "bandages" to correct.  I opted for the auxiliary box at a quoted flat rate of $992 (including the recessed-installed quad outlet and wiring).
The work took place about a week later.  Suzy Ferricci arrived at about 9:30 that morning (It felt really good to be treated like a priority!).  She installed the outlet.  Joe arrived a little later and put in the auxiliary box and breaker.
The outlets and breakers worked fine, upon install.  I tested all four outlets with my LED polarity detector, and everything was grounded and correct.  In addition, Joe went beyond the scope of the quote, at no extra charge, and provided me an 8-slot auxiliary box (versus 6), to allow ample room for future expansion.  The work took a little over four hours, including basic clean up.
I found the Ferriccis to be detail-oriented and good communicators: 1) they not only labelled the new breaker in the auxiliary box; they also labelled where load was reduced in the old box; 2) Suzy directed my attention to a small crack in the wall where the outlet was installed; pointing stuff like that out is not, in my experience, something that home electrical contractors automatically do (note: the crack was not the result of anything they did wrong, but of very, very old plaster, with years of crummy previous repairs baked in; since the crack was cosmetic and not structural, and since I'm decent with joint compound, I told the Ferricci's to leave it).
Overall, I found the Ferriccis to be not only knowledgeable and highly competent but also very accomodating, schedule wise, and fair price-wise.  I can definitely recommend them, and hope to use them again.

The electricians were prompt, courteous, responsible, helpful and considerate.  They were  careful with the owner's property,  helpful with suggestions, efficient and professional.  After each visit the area was cleaned and restored to its original condition.    We certainly would  hire this company in the future.   The work performed was of the highest quality.

The work was superior.  The electrician did a very careful job of installing the ceiling fan in the ceiling of an old house.  She discovered and repaired an old non-working door bell and removed the sconces professionally.

The work was done professionally and promptly. They returned more than one year later when I called because one of the labels on the circuit breakers in the panel box didn't appear correct. They traced the circuit and relabeled the box the same day I called at no charge. This is the company I will be calling for any future electrical needs.

I cannot be happier with Mr. Ferricci and the work he performed. he was able to come the day after I called him and work us into his schedule. He arrived on time when he said he would and did not waste any time. He was very knowledgeable and was able to complete the job very quickly. There is no boxes to give him a A+ and if there were I would have checked those. I now have a electrician to rely on and will definitely use him in the future. Thank you Mr. Ferricci.

Joe came when he said he would.  Nothing is easy in an old house, but Joe made sure the jobs were done correctly.  He was very polite and professional, and clearly took pride in his work.

The owner was very professional and courteous. (He was also good with my dog!)  Another electrician had fixed these lights twice and they would stop working shortly after he left.  It has been almost 2 months since Ferricci's fixed the lighting and they are still working.

The work took two days--April 18th and the 21st. The second day, he had a helper. He sent an estimate via email, which I accepted. They were very prompt and cleaned up all debris. The reason the work took so long was connected with the fact that the codes have changed and a lot of do-it-yourselvers had made a crazy quilt of the wiring. The house was built in 1920, so it's no wonder. I have a little more peace of mind now, especially since all of this started by my reading an article about a company that produced bad breaker boxes that were installed in my area. Naturally, I happened to have one and was an accident waiting to happen all these years! Naturally, I called Joe. I would absolutely recommend this company and plan to use them again.

Had no trouble reaching Mr. Ferricci on Monday previous to date of service. He did the work  and, at my request, checked the basement wiring for violations. It had been 25 years since anybody had checked the electric, so I wanted this done. Also wanted a new line with 3-prong outlet so I could use a power strip in that living room area. He explained to me what needed to be done and said he would check his schedule and send me an email with estimate. I had checked the list for reports after hearing glowing reviews on him from 2 friends of mine.  I was very well satisfied!
