We lost our heat and Joey and Noah were at our home within hours. They took time to know what the problem was, shared a few options (and costs), and had it up and running that afternoon. We are so happy with our local business, the fantastic customer service, and great value. Highly recommend!

SCAM ALERT! I wish I read all of the other reviews. Gerald and Matt talk a great game and are great salesmen. Once we agreed on the scope of work and a start date of June 18, 2021, totaling $18,000, I paid 30% down a couple weeks before starting. They never showed up and stopped responding to text messages and answering calls. Eventually they stopped by with a floor window unit as a temporary fix and told me they couldn't start for another TWO MONTHS. As I was undergoing a major renovation in Rocky River, this threw my entire construction schedule off -- and screwed over every other contractor. On June 26, I texted Gerald to refund my $6,000 deposit as I no longer wanted to do business with them. It's been 17 days and they still haven't refunded me. Then, they just sent me a $460 bill for that temporary AC they dropped off as a courtesy for screwing up our renovation schedule. They ignore my texts and calls. Please, please, please, LISTEN to the other reviews. These guys are con artists. Do not fall

Company always answers phone!! Explained problem. Called back several times promptly within minutes. Shut off water/gas supply. Going to wait until morning, but company called back and said they could come to check situation. Gary let tank drain overnight, came the next morning to install new tank. Neat work. Friendly. Installation in a timely manner. Done work for me before. Will call them again. Family member uses them too.

After contacting several contractors on Angie's List, FHC gave me the shortest wait time. The humidifier had fallen off my furnace causing all the heat to blow into the basement level. Gary disconnected the electrical and plumbing lines, safely removed my Aprilaire unit, and very neatly secured sheet metal over the opening. He also did a thorough cleaning and inspection of the furnace. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill only reflected the tune up charge and the other services were done for free. So often, I feel taken advantage of when having work done in my home due to lack of knowledge or just not having a choice. Gary restored my faith that there are kind, honest, and trustworthy people out there. I would highly recommend!

Matt was very responsive, came over on Labor Day and checked the refrigerant since air flow wasn't the problem. Came back the next morning to fill the refrigerant and will come back next spring to check pressures to see if I actually had a leak or if the system wasn't properly filled during installation. Would definitely use them again, actually this is the 3rd time I have used them.

Matt came by early the next day and diagnosed the problem and fixed it up without too much hassle and for a very reasonable price. You can't put a price on cool air on a hot day - but the price here was excellent all the same. Matt is a great guy too - professional and efficient. Highly recommended.

I’ve never been less impressed with a company. The service people they sent out basically gave me a big “we don’t know” when it came to what was causing the problem. Their only “guess” was that the furnace was under-powered. When I reminded them the furnace was brand new, they just shrugged. Told me they would run tests on the AC unit- they actually added coolant (which wasn’t needed) without asking me first, I suppose as a Hail Mary because they couldn’t figure out the issue. Then tried to charge me $300 for a visit that had zero impact (besides them tracking dirt into my home) and a product I never asked for. Upon speaking to the owner, he offered to cut the fee for the visit off the bill and come out personally to inspect the system. I accepted this offer based on the premise that he’d come out. Guess who was a no/show??? I would never recommend this company- I basically paid them $170 for nothing.

Nice gal in office assured me he would be out, same day which is important when you have no heat.. Gary had all the parts with him, repaired all in one visit, which was great considering it had more than one problem.

Called Fairview H&C, a friendly woman answered, assured me that they'd try to get us repaired that same day - came through with a service call that same afternoon. Problem diagnosed quickly (chipmunks chewed through wire to/from outside condensing unit) and fixed promptly for a very reasonable price. Not only did they respond quickly, they did so affordably and conscientiously. And it's always nice dealing with good people, rather than voicemails and impolite repairmen.

They answered my calls promptly. Matt called me with a time he said I need a motor which was most likely under warrenty the company I bought the furnace from stated they were backed up could take anywhere from 2-4 hours for someone to come out. Matt loaned me a space heater which worked great, and replaced my motor in the morning. Very friendly and professional.

Everything went well.

Since the house is built on a slab, the HVAC, hot water heater, washer, dryer & radon mitigation system are all jammed into one closet off the kitchen.  It is difficult to describe the cramped working conditions for Gary & John, but in 2-1/2 days they tore out the 20 year+ old equipment, and installed the new, including the venting required for the high efficiency furnace, which was not a straight shot to the outside, and required some clever configuring.  In the process Gary made some important discoveries (how the mice were getting in; how packed the dryer vent was, among others), and took care of these problems for me.  He made sure I would be able to change the filters by myself.  He installed exactly the type of thermostat controller I wanted.  Each morning Gary & John arrived promptly, and each night they neatened up and cleaned up.  Gary patiently answered all my questions, and made sure the "mysteries" of that tightly packed "engine room" were dispelled for me.  Our family has used Gary's services for over 20 years at 8 different residences.  Phone calls are answered, emergencies responded to, appointments kept.  Gary is very exacting in the standards he sets for his work, and he is quite a craftsman.  Gary is the epitome of trustworthy.

Gary showed up the same day I called.  He was pleasant, courteous and more than competent.  We couldn't have asked for more and would definitely use this company again!

Gary has been helping our family, including my parents for over a decade.  He is observant, patient, thorough, professional and reasonably priced.  Very important to me is that when he is done, its like he wasn't there.... meaning many companies leave stuff behind and we have to clean up, but it almost seems like everything is more clean and tidy when he leaves?!

Gary and his crew we're very professional and efficient.  They arrived on time and did a great job.  They installed a high efficiency furnace for me a few years previous and were equally meticulous then as well.  I haven't had need for any additional services on either install (which is a good thing!) but if I do, I'll have no hesitation giving them a call!

Perfect. On time, and services performed exactly as billed. I would recommend Gary to anyone.

Called them at 8am, gave me a 1 hr call ahead, Gary diagnosed the problem and offered other useful safety info and ordered the part.  30 mins later they called me back to say they had the part and could come back to install it.  1 1/2 hours later the motor was replaced.  Great job, would recommend.

I called Fairview Heating and Cooling to do an annual check-up of my furnace at a rental property.I happened to call after office hours, left a message and they promptly returned my call the following day. I was not having any issues and it was not urgent so I scheduled an appointment for the following week. Fairview Heating and Cooling called the day of my appointment and said the service man was a bit ahead of schedule and could meet me at the property 30 minutes earlier if that was convenient. 
The Service man was very professional, personable and spent just over an hour cleaning, inspecting and servicing the furnace. I found him very conscientious and feel he did an outstanding job. My furnace is over 30 years old, but he said it was functioning properly and found nothing to indicate a problem. He remarked that the filter was pretty dirty and should be changed more frequently. 
Overall I feel that the Company offered good value for the service they provided and I am very pleased with their work.

This company is very professional, knowledgeable and ethical. We worked with the owner, Gary Ross, who could have easily sold us a new air conditioner but insisted that it was not necessary and he would be able to fix the problem. Mr. Ross is a man of his word and even made follow-up visits to be sure that the problem was fixed to our satisfaction. We are very pleased to have found Mr. Ross and his company (thank you Angie's List) and would highly recommend them. AAA+++
