EZTransitions is a company that you need for the unusual situation where a lost loved one forces you to prepare their home for sale. I used EZTransitions initially to remove 50 years of clutter to prepare the house for sale. However, I quickly found out that EZTransitions was able to do much more and I ended up using them to not only clean out the house, but to also perform minor repairs on walls and floors, paint many of the inside rooms, replace tile, clean rugs and floors, clean windows and screens, polish woodwork, etc. In general they prepared the inside of the house for sale. I had other contractors that took care of plumbing, electrical, the chimney, and the landscaping. But EZTransitions covered the gap of everything else that needed to be done inside the house. It was a big job and it took a few weeks. However, for a very reasonable price, I was amazed at the quality of the finished product. I had a team of contractors and the realtor working on the house with EZTransitions. Communication and cooperation amongst them was very effective. EZTransitions was a critical piece of my team to prepare the house for sale. I would heartily recommend them to others.

My mother's house was filled with 51 years' worth of furniture, books, knickknacks, and junk. EZ transitions disposed of the junk, appraised anything of value for sale, ran a three-day house sale, then completely emptied and cleaned the house of a walk-through by the new owners. I wish I had known years ago about their service-I would have avoided a lot of worry. The proceeds from the house sale more than covered EZ transitions' charge for all of the work done. They even got $300 for a piano I hadn't been able to give away. Whatever didn't sell was donated to charity and we got receipts for tax deductions. I'd recommend EZ transitions to anyone who has a house to empty. They explained the whole process, did exactly what they promised, and were very pleasant to deal with.

This contractor exceeded our expectations. He was prompt, professional and careful with our possessions. He left the home in good order each day. He kept all his promises.

Al and his crew were extremely kind and helpful at a time when my sister and I were overwhelmed. Dealing with our mothers home and preparing it for sale was much more difficult than we anticipated.

In terms of the clean-out, they did a great job! They also did a good job with the maintenance stuff. They ripped everything out of the walls, which left a mess for us to pay to have repaired. I do kind of think that they were dishonest in the way they misrepresented the auction would work and how much we would receive.. We thought they would have a estate sale and split 50/50. He ended up doing a storefront auction sale. We only got a portion of these sales, and some items were not even marked as ours. Ultimately they did not pay us all of what we were owed.

This job was hurry up project to prepare for the sale. EZ did this on second day short notice. They returned $200.00 cash that was found in sofa pillows.

Al is very sensitive to senior's move issues; patient + helpful. Lots of suggestions but no mandates. Flexible + he + staff very courteous.
