I highly recommend ESP Electrical. First, they were very responsive, calling me within a few days of my email (and this is unusual in today’s contractor industry). Second, they were able to set up a time to come out within a few days. Third, when the guys— Mike and Tony— arrived they were friendly and highly professional, even to the extent of putting a piece of cardboard under their van to keep any oil off the driveway (and the van wasn’t even leaking!). They assessed the situation quickly, discussed some configuration and pricing options with me, and then did a very nice job in a few hours. We are extremely happy with the outcome and I will definitely be asking them to do more work on our 1931 colonial in the near future. Again, highly recommended!

The techs were on time. They seemed very confused and uninformed as to how to install a ceiling fan. We sent them home because we were uncomfortable with their apparent lack of expertise. Of course, they charged us $69 to spend 5 minutes at our house and do nothing. They also did not tell us that an additional fee would be charged when we paid by credit card. Do not hire this company!

After enduring many summers of my window air conditioner units constantly tripping circuit breakers, I decided to have ESP Electrical do work at my home in December of 2019 for the sole purpose of allowing them to run without any issues. Rick from ESP knew this was my objective when he quoted a price for the work to be done. They ran 2 new lines: one to the refrigerator and another to the microwave as the circuit breakers would trip when these were running. He also replaced the main panel, but in doing so lowered the amperage of the lines the air conditioners run from. I was not aware of this until the first warm spell when I tried running the air conditioners. They, as I am sure you can guess, constantly tripped the breakers. I called Rick and after one of his workers came out to look at the job, he said it would cost approximately $450.00 to run just ONE line to allow ONE air conditioner to run without incident. As a bonus, he was not going to charge me the $69.00 house call for an estimate! So now I am right back where I started from except $3,043.27 poorer.

It went well. The job was incredibly simple. They just needed to install a light fixture that I had purchased. They did a good job however, when they initially did the work, I inspected what they did and had to tell them that the light was not straight. The fixture was not flush with the ceiling. When I notified them, they did indeed fix it but for the money that I was paying, I felt that I should not have had to tell them to fix it. The entire job took them all of 20 minutes, but cost me $147(just labor, I provided the light fixture). I was aware of the price before hand, so that was not a surprise but for that kind of money, I should not have had to tell them to make sure the light was flush with the ceiling.
