Empire electric was great and very timely. They gave a timely quote as well. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Peter and his assistant did a great job, considering the challenges involved. They had to work around existing duct work, took great care removing and replacing drywall as necessary for access, and were at all times very conscientious about doing as little harm as possible to the ceiling and walls. Best of all, Peter is one of the few professional electricians I know who actually responds to your phone calls and e-mails immediately, and shows up on time as scheduled. I highly recommend him.

Turns out we had an unlabeled breaker that ran the microwave. Even though it looked as if it was on, it had tripped. No need for a new switch! The ceiling fan was installed neatly and professionally. The electrician put in a new connector in the ceiling at no charge since no repairs were needed for our breaker box.

Was a very careful and considerate worker. He also gave me ideas and suggestions for other projects I was thinking of doing.

It was a follow up. One dimmer switch wasn't working properly. He was happy to come back. 

He did a real good job. He's a real personal guy. He came to this country years ago, easy to talk to a nice young fellow. Overall I felt quite comfortable with him it the house.

Peter and his crew were very professional, timely and hard working and completed the whole job well within the estimated time frame.  Their work is of the highest quality both in materials and workmanship. 
This is an older house with a very odd and massive brick fireplace with brick extensions into the kitchen requiring a great deal of ingenuity to install the additional kitchen outlets.  It also has some odd, patchy wiring done by former owners.
I'm especially pleased with Peter's professionalism in working with me to attain the optimum combination of what I wanted and the safest installation options in working around the brick structure.  I am also extremely pleased with the basement lighting as I had no idea what to do with it and Peter offered suggestions for the most practical and aesthetically enhancing options.  The quality of his workmanship and materials provides an extra assurance to me that the new additions and modifications are very safe, something which has concerned me about some of the prior owners wiring. 
I will be engaging Empire Electric for the next phase of lighting additions and outlet modifications in the next couple of months.

This is an old house with lots of quirky repairs from past contractors. Empire was able to sort through all that and clean up the electrical system. They were prompt and efficient.

He provided excellent service.  When I first called him, he was working on the other side of the city.  He added me on to the end of his day that day.  That really impressed me.  I really appreciated that service being that it was my first experience with him.   Peter Kiss was outstanding and trustworthy.  He was very accommodating to our situation and needs.  I felt he did an excellent job and went above and  beyond.  He is very personable.  He stands by his work.  I would recommend him to others.  I would use him in the future.

Emergency service performed in response to a tree down that took out the mast and took down our lines.  Pete answered his cell phone the morning after the storm since I wasn't sure what to do; he got to our house expeditiously, assessed the situation, told us that our partial power was closing it's circuit through the water piping (not good).  He took care of everything for me and helped me through the process -- leg work for the permit and re-securing the mast and conduit / inspecting the existing line into the house, and meeting with the city inspector, (all except me pestering the dang utility company to tell them to get the hot wires off my front lawn and then another round of pestering to get them to reconnect :-)  For what it's worth also, the reconnect service utility crew was an electrical crew from out of town and the first thing they asked me was "who did my electrical?" (they were impressed).  Pete did my service upgrade earlier in the year.  Thanks Pete.  Hope you do well this year and that I don't need to call(!!)...but if I need help I'll call you!

Peter from Empire Electric was referred by a neighbor when my property was left without power due to storm damage.  The Illuminating Company originally stated they would handle the repairs, but after 5 days without power and unable to get anyone to return to the house to restore power, a crew from The Illuminating Company finally stopped and said that due to the overwhelming number of electrical problems caused by the storm, I must hire an electrician to handle the work. Had I known that immediately, I would not have waited so long to call for an electrician. 
I immediately called several electricans and received verbal quotes. Then a neighbor recommended Peter  from Empire Electric. Though all the electricans I contacted prior were very understanding, only Peter was willing to come over on short notice, inspect the problem and provide an estimate. Peter too was very busy, but able to make room in his schedule for my repairs.
His quote was very reasonable, he was prompt, professional and very responsive. I was able to communicate with Peter via phone, text and email making it was very easy to stay in touch throughout the project. I am extremely pleased with the work and would not hesitate to contact Peter again for any electrical needs.
