Gene and his crew did an excellent job cleaning the ducts and registers throughout my home. I have some unique and very difficult 1950's style registers along my baseboards. They were sure to not only get them open in order to clean, but also repair some broken pieces at no extra cost. The ducts were loaded with dust and mice poop. It's nice to look into the ducts and see just clean metal now. Gene is very professional and offers great advice about how to properly maintain things on your own in the future. A job well done.

There was no extra charge to the $79 Big Deal. I have never had it done before. Someone had come in and had done some painting for me a while back. In the admission that dryer vents cause 17,000 fires a year, so I had never have it done and I went on ahead and taken that cared off. There was some lint inside of the vent that was leading to the outside, but it was not heavily clogged. He explained what he was going to do. He explained what type of reading that he was looking to get out of the vent after they had cleaned it. He had obtained that particular reading on the meter. Then, he went inside the house and he cleaned it. He accomplished everything that he was going to do. I would say that $79 is a fair price. They were on time. He had called and said that he would be a little early which was good. I would use them again in the future without a doubt. I have already referred them to several people.

Very easy to make appointment. Received a call the night before confirming appt; received a call when they were on there way. The service techs were very polite and efficient. They cleaned everything up. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

They were amazing. They did what they said they were going to do. Thinking back, I think they only charged me whatever was the special. I would give them the best. They made sure that the dust from the ducts didn't come out into the house. There was no residual dust. They were really good. I will absolutely use them again, no question. I wouldn't even go anywhere else.

They were prompt and professional. My only complaint would be that they did not replace all of our registers. We had to put several back on. Other than that I believe they were attentive to detail.

Sold me a "better" vent since mine was the "cheap" builders type. It was installed. Vent was cleaned with a roto rooter type of tool. Lots of fuzz was removed. The service guys announced that they were done and we were to pay them the extra for their new "better vent material". My wife checked the utility room where the dryer was located and found their new vent caused the dryer to stick out almost an additional foot not leaving any room to unload laundry from the dryer to a clothes basket. They tried and tried to make it fit better, to no avail. Bottom line, we made them remove the "better vent" and reinstall the old one which then had to be cleaned. We did not pay for all the extra work or the "better vent" We were very disappointed that they tried to pull one over on us to sell us a new vent (from the dryer to the wall opening) that clearly did not fit and get their money and leave before having us inspect what they had done. The two guys that were here never seemed any embarrassment or remorse for trying to basically use a bait and switch method of gaining extra money from their Angie's List deal. Job was completed without any other problems.

I called CRI Duct Services on Monday, since I noticed my dryer was taking a long time to dry, and my husband tried to fix the vent but found it was an old plastic accordion style which was disintegrating. I spoke to Gene Zoladz and we made an appointment for Thursday, since I wasn't available earlier. Mr. Zoladz called me on Thursday morning and told me the approximate time he would be there, and sure enough, he and his helper came right on time. They investigated the problem, looking from inside and outside, as well as an opening in the basement that I showed them. There is no access to the area, so Mr. Zoladz and his helper had to work from inside and outside, which was no easy feat, since the vent goes down an interior wall and under the floor to the outside wall. Mr. Zoladz kept me informed the whole way. He wasn't sure if they were going to be able to replace the vent, but they worked until they were able to put a full stainless steel vent in. He also installed a vent hood outside which I had purchased, and made sure to seal around the part. Plus, he filled in a small hole on the side of the house with his sealant, which he did not have to do! They thoroughly cleaned my dryer and tested it. It was the first time I had seen a steady stream of hot air coming out of the vent since I bought the house!! They also cleaned up after themselves wonderfully. I will definitely use them again. I plan to have CRI Duct Services come out in the spring and clean our air ducts. I feel fortunate that we did not have a fire since the dryer was pretty filled up, and the old vent was pretty bad as well.

Shawn called 40 minutes before he was due to show up and came 35 minutes later. He inspected my dryer vent and pointed out some trouble spots. I had cleaned out the vent before and did not reinstall it correctly, so I wasn't surprised. One of the reasons I purchased this "deal" was because I wanted it to be right. He then asked me if I wanted a new vent for $39.99 and I agreed (again because I wanted it right). He cleaned out the dryer itself and installed the new duct. He explained what he had done and taught me how to watch out for lint build up to avoid problems. Shawn was efficient and handled himself in a very professional manner.

He explained everything, afterward, and told me that the dryer hose had not been cleaned out for many years (actually - since we bought the house in 1994, we never knew we HAD to have the hose/duct vacuumed out) and we should have this performed each year. Shawn was a very polite and thorough worker and I was impressed that he worked so quickly and neatly. Everything was put back as it should be, and, I should have said in the first place, he was very prompt and courteous.

My dryer vent was not only filled with lint, but it was filled with pin-holes and not up to fire-code. The vent was replaced with a dryer vent that is up to code. I was very pleased with the promptness and professionalism of the installer. I would definitly use this company in the future.

Then he advised me that the airflow was straight thru and I could schedule my dryer vent cleanings every two years instead of every year. Then he looked inside my dryer and advised me to make sure that I removed the fabric softener pads from the dryer because they could become a fire hazard, and I thanked him for the information. He also tucked in my felt padding in my dryer so I would not have to call a repairman!! He was very courteous and I would recommend this company to anyone.

THERE WAS NO SERVICE PROVIDED. I was supposed to hear from the company on 11/19/14. I never heard from them nor did I get a return call. I hired another company.

I contacted the company to schedule the work to be completed and was told they were not alerted that the deal had been purchased.

The fellow did a good job but was informed if I didnt have a ladder it would cost me $20.00 to take the ladder off the truck. I couldnt believe that. Also, he charged me $ 40.00 for a hose for the back of the dryer and after I paid $40 for the hose, I was informed I could buy it for $10.00at home depo. His boss tries to make up for the discount you get on Angies list.
