Leigh and the team from ComfortMD were professional and reliable from start to finish of our project. He was extremely responsive during the quoting phase - and provided comprehensive answers to our questions re: system performance and options. When product quality/ noise issues were discovered with one of the air conditioning compressors during installation, Leigh took care of it...no questions asked. From a pricing perspective ComfortMD was competitive. We would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Our furnace went out on a Sunday night. On Tuesday morning another company determined that the fix on our 20 year old furnace would cost $600-800. We decided to replace the furnace instead. I got quotes from 3 companies. The low cost vendor who had been out kept changing recommendations and would not give me a model number that I could use to find the equipment online. Leigh worked through questions and quotes with me over the phone for comparison and was patient through my research and learning process. I made a decision on Wednesday mid-day to go with Leigh because my third quote for the same equipment and services was $1,000 higher. Our installation started the next day. We also had the AC replaced to avoid the same issue with equipment failure when the temperatures rise.

I purchased the air cleaner through another company several years ago and was never happy with the performance of the air cleaner nor the company that installed it. I fired that company and signed an annual maintenance contract with comfortMD for my furnace, A/C and air cleaner. I had told the technician about my unhappiness with the air cleaner that never seemed to be working right after the other company had installed it. Leigh Weinberg called me based on my conversation with their tech and I asked for options to either repair or replace my air cleaner. Leigh heard my dissatisfaction and even though they had not sold me the air cleaner he indicated that he stood by the American Standard product and arranged on his own to have all of the parts replaced free of charge to me to fix the problem. Soon he assembled all of the parts and sent the tech to my house and replaced every part of the air cleaner (worth > $1,000) free of charge to me. The air cleaner is working for the first time since I purchased it! They did not have to do this and I have to admit that this is the first time in my life that a company stood by their manufacturer even when they didn't perform the initial sale or install. I have found their annual maintenance to be much more effective than the original installer (Gorjanc) and would recommend them to anyone. They have been very professional, timely, and don't try to upsell you every time they come to your house.

Our air conditioner died 6 weeks before my son's wedding. We had out of town guests coming to stay with us. We had 6 different vendors come to the house and give us an estimate of cost. Leigh of Comfort MD was who we chose. Leigh is also the owner. His pricing was right on spot. He was very knowledgeable. He was open to what brand and sizing we wanted for our house, but also told us if he felt it wasn't a good fit and why. Leigh kept in contact with us the entire time. He even gave us his cell phone number to contact him anytime! He offered to bring us temporary air units until the installation since the temperature was going to be in the 90's for the next week. Everything was installed one week before the wedding and is working fantastic. The installers were competent, respectful and quick. They cleaned up after themselves. We are now going on three months with no complaints. I would recommend Leigh and his company to anyone.

Outstanding work and service. The process and products where thoroughly explained with costs and time required to install. Comfort MD even covers submitting any rebates for upgrading to more energy efficient equipment and upgrading insulation. They also provided portable AC units until the new AC could be installed. The work was actually done in less time than anticipated and so far, everything works perfectly. In the end, replacing the entire HVAC and adding some additional insulation cost a bit less with rebates, than other bids. Very happy with the entire experience and service.

An excellent company. The work was performed timely  and very neatly. It is a pleasure working with Lee, the owner and his employees.

We have a maintenance agreement they come out twice a year.

It was approximately four days; it was a big job. It was efficiently done, high quality and the particular appliances that they had before we've had before they're very good.

Awesome--this is the third time that I've worked with these guys on a bigger project in the last nine years: two new furnaces, ducts, and asbestos removal in a two family rental, home insulation in my primary residence, and now this project. Each time, the crews have been courteous, clean, and punctual. I'm consistently impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship, whether it's cutting tile for a floor return, duct work and refrigerant lines being run for the new unit, or sheet metal work to adapt existing ducts/furnaces to newly installed equipment.

They set up the appointment right away, it was very reasonably priced (even the realtor was surprised at the pricing!) so I couldn't be happier.

I had a very difficult time getting this scheduled.  I purchased this in January and could not get it scheduled until May despite an email and numerous phone calls.  The gentleman who arrived to do the audit was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable.  He told me that it  might take a while to get a report of his findings which I am still waiting for (it is the end of August.)  I have called to see when and if I will ever see the report, but I am not going to hold my breath.  I also asked for an estimate to replace our old boiler which they never gave me.  I honestly don't know how these people stay in business.  It seems that offering an Angie's list Big Deal would have the aim of attracting more business, but my experience has had the opposite effect.

Very comprehensive and informative, very detailed report with advice about how to save money, no high pressure sales pitch.  We implemented many low cost recommendations (things we were able to do ourselves) and immediately saved on energy costs.

Best service from any contractor we have ever hired. I would highly recommend to friends and family. There is not a negative thing we can say a bout the service we received. Prompt, professional and very reasonably priced.

James Colopy was very professional, thorough, and pleasant. Most important, he found that my oven was emitting a dangerous level of carbon monoxide. The entire audit was worth the amount I paid ($50 for the Angie's Big Deal) to find this safety hazard. I was surprised to receive the extensive written report, which had information on energy conservation and saving money. I appreciated the fact that the audit was related to the gas company.
