DO NOT SHOP HERE - the owner Marty and Grace, the office manger are horrible people. I placed an order online for a set of mirrors that were priced somewhat reasonable. Then 3 weeks after my order was placed I received a vase instead of the mirrors. A lady by the name of Grace told me to kindly forward the vase to the right address as it was shipped to me by mistake and that my original order was being processed and shipped out soon. As soon as I shipped the vase via UPS and provided the tracking number to Grace she canceled my original order for the mirrors and told me that it was priced wrong and that it was listed at a lower price on the Cleveland Lightning website by mistake, so in other words the store sent me the wrong item and than had me forward the item to the correct address and in return I got my original order canceled. I called to follow up and spoke to Grace and she just snapped and rudely hung up the phone and then I reached a “Marty”, the store owner, and he just chuckled and said “tough luck buddy” and hung up the phone. What a horrible store and such horrendous customer service. Now mind you, that I own over 25 properties in California including several residential apartment buildings, and I wanted to shop and support a small business, and I wanted to try Cleveland Lighting but to no avail. You can bet that they will not earn my business. Their loss, and I get the last laugh since all Marty apparently knows about customer service is to chuckle at shipping and fulfillment issues.

I purchased three pendant lights for my new kitchen. They hang over the bar which functions as a division between the working part of the kitchen and the eating/sitting area. Each pendant was $94. I had them hung by my very skilled and professional contractor Marc Apple. I was very pleased by the look and the colors of the pendants. The purchase was in June, 2014.  They were not hung until approximately August when the kitchen was nearing completion. In September I noticed that one of the pendants had a long, straight crack along the entire side, showing the bulb beneath. I contacted Cleveland Lighting, they verified my purchase and said they would have to get back to me about a free replacement. I did not hear from them in a timely manner so called again and was told that the 30 DAY guarantee had expired and that I was not due a replacement. In contrast, I had ordered another fixture for my kitchen online, was past the due date for them but they understood that the fixture was not hung for some time after receiving it and replaced it free and without hassle. I had shopped locally, supporting my local lighting store for the pendants and am left with a broken pendant in my new kitchen. The response from Cleveland Lighting was that it was installed improperly. That is not true. I would have noticed the crack right away if it were the fault of the contractor. It is a defect in the manufacturing and I think I deserve a free replacement. The expiration for guarantee should at least be long enough for the product to be tested. This defect showed up a few months after being hung.

They have good selection to make choices from, whether its track lighting or regular lighting. It depends on what you choose probably what I chose was expensive, but that's because that's what I wanted. They may not be the cheapest thing in town but it's very good quality.

They were incredibly responsive. They were extremely professional, flexible and service oriented. They delivered a few pieces when they were in the area at no charge. They had great design ideas.

THEY HAVE A HARD TIME SCHEDULING ONE-TIME JOBS, BUT DO VERY GOOD WORK ONCE THEY GET THERE. THE IN-STORE PEOPLE ARE ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS.
