It went very well. Rob (Laws) and his coworker Donna completed the job in three days. They were very friendly, focused, efficient, and skilled at putting down the carpeting and paint. The final results were outstanding In addition, Rob clearly answered all our questions about what techniques and tools there were using (we're very curious); that was a nifty bonus. For subsequent carpeting jobs, we will not hesitate to employ these people again.

The project went beautifully! The installers were here until the job was completed, and they had to replace some tiles installed incorrectly by another company. Keith, and his crew were incredibly kind, helpful and courteous. I will use them again for my dining and living rooms. Please use them— They are amazing!!!

Very professional team, from the owner to the installers, administrative and technical. I am very pleased with the service and my flooring is awesome. The final walk-through is the last step in the process and then I'll be reaching out to them for the installation of my kitchen flooring, too!

It went well. A couple of problems due to the difficulty in working with installation over concrete, but they immediately came back with a more experienced crew and rectified the problem.

Buying flooring and the subsequent installation with Floor Coverings International went extremely well. Keith Nootbaar, owner, came out himself to survey, measure and take photos of the old flooring in the kitchen, hallway and bathroom. He had an outgoing personality coming across as a very nice individual. He fully explained his company's business and what they were trying to accomplish when installing new flooring. His suggestion on what flooring to use was very helpful. We liked Keith immediately. He established trust with us. The installers were very professional, and they did a great job. They did not want a check upon completion because Keith Nootbaar planned on coming to check out their workmanship and to see if we were satisfied. Keith came out approximately two weeks later, spent time checking everything and asked if we were happy with the results. It was at this time (after his inspection) that we made final payment. This was his rule. The experience with Floor Coverings International was wonderful. Price was right, installation time was short, and the fact that the owner wasn't interested in final payment until he had a chance to okay the job done by his installers was impressive. Installation included removing the old flooring. Upon removal, extra work had to be done to remove the old glue job so the surface would be smooth for installation of the new floor. This was not expected, and it took more time to finish the job. It's important to note that we had other flooring companies come out to give us a price. None of the other companies wanted to remove the old flooring. They only wanted to install new flooring OVER the top of the old flooring at basically the same price.. I 100% recommend this company and owner to anyone interested in a great quality flooring (Armstrong) done by experienced, friendly, and honest people. I give them the highest rating possible. Our experience with Keith Nootbaar from Floor Coverings International was excellent. There was no high pressure sales pitch at all. In fact our refrigerator had broke 2 days before our scheduled appointment and we were planning on delaying the floor. We hadn't said anything yet because we decided to see what he had to offer. After he had took all the measurements and found out what we were interested in, he brought in some samples. He was very good on knowing what we were looking for without us even realizing it. I was very surprised to see he only brought in 3 samples. But bingo the 3rd sample he showed us was it. Then we told him we were going to have to put it off because of our circumstances. He totally understood. We were still interested in the price for a later down the road project. He showed us the estimate and we were very surprised with the price. We did go with the floor and even decided to add in the half bath. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the whole process and would not hesitate to call on them again for future flooring or carpet.

Keith, the owner, met me at my home on time and did a walk thru and took some measurements. I recently purchased a 96-year old home in Valley View and after tearing the carpet out, saw some pretty decent looking hardwood. Unfortunately, it was sitting underneath some horrible stain and varnish. I initially wanted two bedrooms, a hallway and some steps sanded and refinished. Keith told me he wanted his floor refinishing specialist, Gene, to take a look before he worked up an estimate. Gene contacted me in a reasonable amount of time and swung by on a Sunday morning...that in and of itself was impressive because it was Sunday! He was very blunt regarding the steps: Oak treads, pine risers and a good chance the black adhesive on the steps contained asbestos, meaning it would be best to carpet the steps and be done. I had already committed to a the company I am using for my new carpet and new hardwood, so I thought it best to let them handle that. Anyway, Gene discovered upon sanding the finish off that this was white oak, grown naturally and rare these days in the state that we had it in. He suggested a clear finish on the wood because that would bring out all the intricacies and natural shades of each board. And man, was he right! The floors looks amazing. The different shades of wood make this one of the most unique wood floors I've ever seen. Gene is an artist. This job took about three days. Gene and his helper cleaned up every night and I was happily surprised that there was hardly and dust from sanding anywhere other than a big garbage bag sitting outside. I have no idea what others would charge but I do believe you get what you pay for. Given the uniqueness of the wood, the age of the house and the dirtiness of the job, I feel I paid a fair price and received superior service. Both Gene and the owner Keith kept in touch with me via text messaging (my preference) and I could not be happier.

FCI came out to our church building and provided a through proposal for all the work to be performed. Pete Cobb even used a computer with some type of laser to draw the floor plan in his computer for accuracy. We agreed to move forward and do not regret it.
They had courteous and thoughtful installers who did neat and clean work. Because we had them working at our church, they had to work around may people, schedules and needs.
They were amazing through the whole process. Not only were the conscientious, they did fantastic work. We are very pleased and would be happy to both use them again as well as refer them to anyone interested in great service, wonderful workmanship and a fair price.Sincerely,Mike Hopkins
