He told me 2-2.5 weeks until work could be done. After 4 weeks I called and was told they were planning on coming Sat. Was the following Sat. when he came. They didn't take the busted bricks with them, but put concrete step over them. He could not seal the steps and the house. Said he would get them caulked when he came bag to put the railings up. They were using my old railings that he said they would paint them for me. He had not measured the railings and they did not fit the steps. He took them with him and said he would let me know if the can be fixed. He was to call me on Monday. He never called Two weeks later I called him and was told they would be there on Monday. I stayed home all day and he no showed. I called on Tuesday and he said it rained on Monday. It did after 6:00. He asked if I wanted him to leave the railings off so that I could paint them. I told him just to install them. When he was done , I asked about the caulking and he said that I was supposed to caulk it. I asked him about closing the bottom of the steps because have see rodents that I had never seen before. He told me to put mothballs out and they would stay away. Then he informed me that I owed another $60 for welding metal on to bottom of the railings. I paid him and have already to others about the poor service he gave me.
steps. Did I nice neat job of grouting the steps to the walk and
foundation to insure the steps were secure and level. Only knock on the
product is the finish is not as nicely finished as many, I'd rate it a
B+. It is a brushed finish but just not quite as nice as it might be
but for the savings over other precast steps I found it is well worth
the the slightly diminish visual appeal.
