About us

Charles S. Rivchun founded his jewelry business in downtown Cleveland in 1917, opening his first wholesale store in the Old Arcade Building on Euclid Avenue. Four years later, he moved the store to the Hickok Building on the corner of Ninth Street and Euclid Avenue. In 1943, Rivchun Jewelers moved to the Citizen's Building (today’s City Club Building) located at 850 Euclid Avenue where Charles encouraged a number of fellow jewelers to relocate and thus, was instrumental in establishing Cleveland’s Historical Jewelry Center.

The first time that I got my watch back, there was moisture under the bezel. They kept the watch and had it gone over after pressure checking it again. The watch has subsequently worked fine.

The battery was changed but there were problems with the watch when picked up. The watch appeared to have moisture under the bezel. The Rivchun's staff immediately took back the watch and promised to have it gone over again by the technician. The second time was a charm and the watch now runs well and keeps great time.

The Rivchun's staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to jewels and jewelry. As they deal with only high-end pieces, their offerings are more for those who are looking for "cream of the crop" or not far from there. I have always been counseled well by Rivchuns and have never felt pressured to buy.

I FEEL COMFORTABLE IN LEAVING MY WATCH AT RIVCHUN'S FOR THE BATTERY REPLACEMENT SERVICE. I ALWAYS FEEL THAT I AM TREATED AS ''FAMILY'' WHEN I AM IN THIS STORE. THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND VERY PERSONALIZED. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH RIVCHUN JEWELERS AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

RIVCHUN JEWELERS REPAIRED THE PRONGS AND REPLACED THE STONE WITH A NEW DIAMOND. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY ALSO RE-SIZED SOME RINGS FOR ME. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED BY RIVCHUN JEWELERS. MY PENDANT LOOKS BRAND NEW AGAIN. I WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN REFERRING OTHERS TO THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE.
