Central Window Cleaning

The windows were cleaned by a very polite young man named Mike. He was efficient and made sure we were happy with everything he had done. We will certainly use the company again.  The staff was very efficient and helpful when I called the office to arrange the window cleaning.  They even called to tell me that Mike was running a little late the day of the cleaning.

They did an excellent job.

It went well.  In fact I had them do the windows at my home.

Originally I planned on only getting my exterior windows cleaned. I decided to have both interior and exterior completed after speaking with their customer service representative over the phone. It was more cost effective because of the services included in the price with inside and outside window cleaning. They wiped down my frames and sills, sashes (I never knew what those were), and the screens were cleaned too.  I can't believe they even scraped a few of my windows that needed it as a part of the service.  The guy that came out was very nice, and certainly had great attention for the details. They also agreed to remind me next Spring to book my 2016 appointment.  It was altogether a very pleasant experience.

Cleaners arrived on time, very clean cut, drove company cars and had uniforms. Completed work in a timely and efficient manner. Reasonably priced.  Will definitely use again.

Excellent service all the way around. Great value for the money. Cleaners arrived on time, cleaned more than just the windows - screens, sills, frames and were neat too. Plus, I was impressed that I received a follow up call after service was complete to ensure I was pleased with my experience. Will definitely refer them to family and friends.

Excellent customer service both from the cleaner and the office.  Received a reminder call from the office and a call following service to find out how it went.  Michael and Stephen were awesome.  Will use them again.

Responsive, Professional, and Quick. Windows looked great, crystal clear. Our picture window was so clear that flying insects kept colliding thinking they could fly into our living room. Now that's clean!

In August 2012 I purchased a $49 groupon for window cleaning from this vendor. I left 3 messages over several weeks attempting to schedule an appointment before finally hearing back. During scheduling I was advised that, in order to have truly clean windows, I needed to pay an additional $78 dollars to have my windows "scraped" & sills cleaned.  Hesitantly, I agreed to the additional fee. A technician arrived at my house around 3:00 p.m., counted the windows and said the price would be doubled because I didn't have double hung windows! Desperate to have the service completed, I once again agreed to a price increase. The tech remove the screens & the lower, sliding portion of the storms in every window. He was at my house for 4 hours, well past dark and inside the house during my family dinner. When he left I discovered each storm and screen shoved into the window frame off-track or in the wrong track- all completely immobile. He had accepted payment (& a generous tip) and never mentioned that he'd had an issue reinstalling the storms & screens.  I immediately emailed the manager and the tech returned the next day.  I followed behind him checking each storm as he tried to put them back into the tracks.  Again, most were not on-track & I had to send him back to correct the install.  The windows that had been washed in the dark were smeared and still somewhat dirty.  I contacted the owner to share my issues with my service and he offered a free window cleaning. However, he didn't respond to my attempts to schedule. What an awful experience from beginning to end!

The cleaner we had was fantastic.

Was three hours late for appointment, gave worker wrong address, and after I complained by phone both to the office and to the worker cleaning my windows, someone later the same night vandalized my windows. I am certain it was the worker as I have never had any sort of property damage or vandalism. Police report was filed. I would NEVER use this company again.

UPDATE: The company called yesterday and while there wasn't much discipline they felt they could mete out to the employee, they did offer to reclean the soiled windows and to make a general announcement about professional behavior at the next staff meeting, which I appreciate. I still can't recommend going with them given what I believe their employee did.

2nd UPDATE: The owner of the company called and personally came out to reclean all of the windows - even doing a few that weren't on the original list. He expressed his apologies for the unfortunate incident and although there was no concrete evidence his employee did the damage, he wanted me to have a positive impression of his company. I appreciate the professionalism and commitment he showed. I did subsequently pass his company along to a business looking for a window cleaner.

Very pleasant to work with.  He had to postpone the arrival  time but was prompt in letting us know about his delay and when he would arrive.  He was very efficient, as well as neat and clean, and finished the job in the expected amount of time.  I have no complaints and would recommend the company.

I waited almost two hours for this company to show up. When I called, I told him I had been waiting and that I could have used this time to do something else. Kirk (owner) gave me an excuse that he "wrote the number down wrong" and that he had actually tried to call. Then he had the gall to say that he "didn't appreciate me talking down to him". Imagine! I waited two hours, am unhappy, and you try to tell me that I'm the one being rude??? I did not raise my voice, I did not swear, or use condescending language. All I said was that I could have been doing something else during that time, which is true.
I will never, ever recommend this company to anyone. Horrible service. F's all the way.

Carl from Central was professional and courteous.  He did an amzaing job and my widows really do sparkle.  I highly recommend Central Window Cleaning and will use them again without a second of hesitation!

I contacted the company to come out and wash my windows. It was going to cost approx $55 more than my coupon which I was o.k. with. They were going to contact the person that would perform the work to see if they could come to my house that Saturday and call me back that day to confirm. I never heard from him. I called him back the following week and he said he would try to get him here that Saturday but if not he would definitely be here the following Saturday at 11:00 A.M. I didn't hear either way so expected him the following Saturday at 11. That Saturday I waited until 11:30 and called Central Window Cleaning to see where he was. He never called back (that day or ever!). About 15 minutes later the person who was to perform the work called and said he was running a little late but would be here later. I told him he was more than a little late with no prior call and I had already left my house for the day. He agreed to come the following Tuesday. On Tuesday he called me and said he was booked for the entire week and could he come on Saturday. I agreed and we agreed that he would come at 9:00 A.M. On that Saturday he hadn't shown up or called by 9:30 so I called him and he said oh man I'm in Baltimore. End of story!

We used this company due to a LivingSocial coupon.  Once we contacted them, they told us that the coupon was for only the outside cleaning.  We agreed to a total cleaning at a much higher price.  While the windows that were cleaned were better, the cleaner was unable to finish the house as promised and we have not heard since.  We did not receive any receipt because the person did not have one.  Finally, we later found items missing from our house.  This was a very mixed experience.

The window cleaner was here for 4.5 hours was very professional and did a great job.  I talked with the owner prior to the appointment and he has been doing window cleaning for quite a while and was clearly very knowledgeable.  Our
windows had not been cleaned like that in years and it was very evident
after he left how much brighter the house was.  Some of the storms needed to have the blinds removed in order to get them out and he had no problem unscrewing the blinds to take
off the windows and then screwing them back up.  He used a squeegee and
scraper which worked so much better and faster than spraying and
wiping.  Though he was young, he was clearly experienced and well trained as there is a certain technique to be used to use the squeegees.  I do think that the cost was a bit high as it came out to $45/hour, but I would probably use them again, but would ask that they send 2 in the crew so that they wouldn't need to be here so long. I liked that the company only cleans windows and nothing else and have the right equipment, cleansers, squeegees, scrapers, etc.
