This job involved replacing a 3/4" stillcock (garden hose faucet) and took about 75 minutes. The charge was $294, which I think is way too much to charge for such a small job.

The service is great! The voicemail I left on Saturday was returned the same day. I was thrilled to hear the plumber would come Monday. Monday early morning I received a confirmation phone call. The plumber, Alan, came Monday morning and did a wonderful job in a very professional and friendly manner. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was so nice as well. I will call Carl Difranco and Son for all plumbing needs in future.

Our hot water heater broke the day after Christmas when we had a house full of out of town guests. We called Carl DiFranco & Sons and it was repaired quickly and efficiently. A few weeks later when the snow melted along with a lot of rain, water started coming into our basement all along the front of our home at floor level. Initially we called the company that had worked on a basement water problem for the previous owners six years ago. They gave us a price of $6,500 to fix the problem and there was no warranty on the previous work. Because we had such a good experience with DiFranco & Sons when they replaced our hot water heater we called to see if they could help with our leaking basement. Bill came out to our home and said he would start with smaller things like snaking the drains and re-routing downspouts before considering excavating to fix the problem. It was not long before he identified the problem as a broken pipe removing the water the sump pump was removing. The water was cycling through and being pumped out again over and over. Bill repaired the pipe and soon our basement was completely dry! We will be calling Carl DiFranco and son again for some additional work we need done. It’s so nice to have found a plumbing company that is completely trustworthy and does such a fantastic job!

The work was very professionally done.

Alan replaced a rotten piece of pipe under one sink and made sure the traps were installed properly. He found an access point to the drain pipe in the attic and he cleared the clog. Alan said that the backed up drain in the basement indicated a problem with the main sewer drain. Alan dug up the access pipe in the front lawn and examined the sanitary sewer pipe. He did not have the equipment to investigate further. The basement drain has not backed up since then, but I will call them when it does. Thanks Alan.

Alan is knowledgable and fastidious about his work. He is efficient, cleans everything up when the job is done and is a very nice man. We have absolutely no complaints and would recommend him without reservation.

All the work was done well with professionalism and knowledge.I was informed on everything that was being done. My sinks are now all working well as well as the shower. I have hired this company to work on my hot water pumped furnace because I have confidence in thier ability to do a good job.

I was skeptical that the pressure valve on the water line was the cause of the problem, but it was. Everything has been working fine since the repair.
