Carpet Installation
The Buddy's employee who measured our staircase actually cut the carpet pieces on our hardwood floors, leaving several deep, large knife gouges. The manager disputed responsibility and did not offer to compensate us in any way. Then, Buddy's did not show up the day they promised to install the carpeting after we waited all day for them (they were "overbooked"). To make matters worse, the manager called us that night and advised that the salesperson had forgotten padding in his quote, and that we would owe more money if we wanted padding installed with our carpeting. Our experience has been horrible, we will never use them again and cannot recommend them.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, AFTER HAVING TO DEAL WITH A DIFFERENT SALESPERSON, ALL WENT PRETTY WELL. I HAD TO MAKE A FEW CALLS ASKING FOR FOLLOW UP, BUT THEY DID MEET ALL THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO ME.

CARPET WAS ORDERED AND WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED 10 DAYS AFTER ORDER WAS PLACED. WHEN CARPET WAS STILL NOT HERE AFTER 15 DAYS, I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT THE CARPET WAS BACKORDERED ANOTHER WEEK. ANOTHER WEEK PASSED AND AGAIN, I HAD TO CALL FOR A STATUS, AND AGAIN WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS BACKORDERED ANOTHER WEEK. THE CARPET WAS DELIVERED BY THIRD PROMISED DATE, BUT WAS NOT AS WE HAD ORDERED. IT HAD TO BE PICKED UP AND RE-DELIVERED 2 DAYS LATER. THESE LAST TWO TIMES I ASKED THEM TO DELIVER IN A CERTAIN TIME FRAME, AND BOTH TIMES THEY WERE LATE, WITH THE LAST ONE RESULTING IN ME CALLING THE WAREHOUSE TO FIND OUT THAT MY CARPET WASN'T EVEN ON THE DELIVERY TRUCK THAT DAY. MY SALESPERSON WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL AND WAS HIGHLY CONFRONTATIONAL WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY I HADN'T BEEN CONTACTED ABOUT THE BACKORDERS INSTEAD OF ME CONTACTING THEM. I DO HAVE MY CARPET, BOUND AND ALL, BUT HAD A POOR EXPERIENCE IN THE PROCESS WITH NO OFFER FROM THE COMPANY TO COMPENSATE ME FOR MY FRUSTRATION AND AGGRA

THE TWO MEN WHO INSTALLED THE CARPET WERE VERY KIND. IT WAS INSTALLED IN ABOUT 2 HOURS AND THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS.
