When he arrived, he presented his card and I showed him the bathroom in question (he had quoted the job over the phone). He and his partner proceeded to prep and protect our entire bathroom from spray residue with blue tape, plastic sheeting and paper. Before he sprayed, he removed the old, gross caulk between the tub and the tile and replaced it with new caulk, such that after it was sprayed, it was "sealed" and impervious to water (no more moldy corners!). He had me check out the work at various stages of completion and described what he was doing at each stage. He was very conscientious and thorough, and described how to maintain the surface of the tub and tile--since you need to be more careful with it--and answered my questions.
When he was finished, we would've barely known he'd been there, if it wasn't for the shiny white tub and tile surround he left behind. Everyone who has seen the result (including the guys who installed the floor) cannot believe it's the same tub and tile; needless to say, we're very pleased!
