BROADVIEW HOUSE OF COLOR TV

We accidentally pulled the cable connection from the back of the TV too hard which pulled the fixed jack right out of the socket.  The TV had to be taken apart to repair.  Since it was only about a year old we took it to Broadview House of Color. They said they could fix it but it would be expensive.  It was approx. $100 to have it repaired.  We went ahead with it thinking they would secure the jack permanently.  We brought it home after a couple of weeks and very carefully hooked up the cable.  We didn't move it since January and I made sure to clean around it so as not to disturb the connection. I noticed a small speck of white paint on the cord and started to VERY lightly scratch it with my nail. No pulling or tugging on the cord. The cord fell away from the TV along with the jack right out of the hole.  We called the repair shop telling them what happen and explaining that it has only been 6 months since the initial repair.  We were told their work was not guaranteed and they would have to charge us again.  For this cable to just drop out of the back the way it did tells me they barely secured it as all.  I would not use them for any repairs at all.  Very poor quality and customer service.

It wasn’t successful. They could no longer get the parts for it because Sony stopped producing them.

It was delivered and set up the next day on time and very professional.

We purchased converter boxes and a color TV from them and they were very nice. They came out and install the converter boxes for us and made sure I knew how to work it. It was complicated with the old DVD player, but they were patient with me and I wrote down the instructions. They were very helpful and knowledgeable.
