We'd used carpet warehouse before to carpet two bedrooms in our old house and that went fine (we picked a carpet off the warehouse floor since we had very little square footage needed). This time we needed much more carpet (1800-2000 sqft) and we wanted a color thats harder to find (lighter multi-tonal gray with no browns). We chose something and were told one price from a sales rep (5500) and one from the owner (4000). We increased our budget from 3000 to 4000 to get the color/quality we wanted but when we went back saying we agreed to the 4000 price, we were told it was more like 4500-4800? and ultimately this was more than we could afford. We were told he could come up with a very similar for us at the 4000 price point that would be just as good so we trusted that and agreed sight unseen knowing we were on a time crunch and needed the carpets done by Friday 8/17 for a move in on 8/18. We got word on 8/16 that the carpet had not been shipped and would not be in on 8/17. We had to delay our entire move because we did not have this carpet - it was made very clear from the beginning that getting this in on time was absolutely critical. Eventually the carpet was installed on 8/21-8/22, with our revised move in day on 8/24. The color is not what we would have liked it to be - too dark and fairly monotone. We would not have chosen a carpet without seeing it if we weren't on the time crunch (we would have gone to see it in person) and we ended up not even getting the carpet when we needed it. I know part of this is our fault but they assured us it would be in on time so we were willing to accept the color might not be perfect - then it wasn't in on time. Also be warned they do not clean up so there are carpet fibers EVERYWHERE and several small scrap pieces in the rooms as well. Because of this its hard to tell until you sweep it all up that there are small snags in many places.

At the time, the quote was wonderful. It's a good price for the whole house, but I didn't get the whole house. Three rooms is what I got. He shorted himself. He should learn better math skills. I just don't think he did his math correctly and he tried to blame it on me and tried to issue me another quote. That's what I do for a living, quote and contracting, so that's not going to happen. If you do a loss, it's on you, you take the loss and you learn from it. He would never get my business again, not ever. That guy wouldn't, no. You don't call people and scream at them, especially your customers. That's not how you keep customers.

Artistic Carpet Warehouse's price included the pad and the labor. I think the carpet was installed very well. They finished all the details. They got around the door, the heating vents, and the edges. There wasn't anything left for us to do. They worked straight through. There was 3 guys who came out. I think this crew was subcontracted out and I think they may hire the same guys every time. They did their job, they knew what they were doing, and they had all their tools. It was just a group of guys. They were fine. Maybe they should have kept their conversation in the van. Other than that their quality of service was fine. The price was very fair. I called 3 times and their price was always consistent and they all knew what was going on. They called several times to tell me they were on their way. They called in the morning and just before they left so I knew exactly where they were. I would at least call them again for pricing.

True to Shannon?s word his installers, Tim Murphy and Kyle Sintek, came on July 12.  It took two days to complete the job, and my wife and I could not be more satisfied.  Both installers turn out to be competent and well experienced.  They wanted to make as little seams as possible, so they brought in a big segment of carpet and did our living room and half of our dining room using a single piece of carpet.  The piece was about 45 feet long and 12 feet wide.  They really struggled bringing such a large segment of carpet into our house, but they said this would be better because it avoids a seam in the middle of our living room.  They had to attach another section to complete the dining room.  They then brought in a single piece of carpet to fit into our hallway which made a right angle turn and encountered two bedrooms and two closets.  The single piece of carpeting covered the hallway and the floors of both closets.  There were three more pieces of carpeting for the two bedrooms adjacent to the hallway and for the master bedroom on the other side of the living room.  There were only four seams in the whole house: three on entry into the three bedrooms and one in the dining room.  Most of that seam passes under our dining room table, so there is no chance that it would be noticeable.  Actually, we could not see evidence of any seam in the entire carpeted area.  Tim and Kyle worked very h****** both days, and they did an awesome job.
We could not be happier with the job Artistic Carpet Warehouse did on our carpet.  It has been six months since the job has been completed, and we have had absolutely no problems with the job they did.  The carpet is still tight on the floor; the seams are not visible?everything is perfect.  We are grateful to Shannon for being a man of his word and for following through on the entire job.
We heartily recommend Artistic Carpet Warehouse to anyone interested in a really competent and honest job carpeting their house.

Today (09/15/12)  the vinyl installer returned to make a quick adjustment to the kitchen floor because an air bubble appeared.  Sam, the salesman oversaw this entire job and kept in touch while the problems relative to their LIABILITY for the removal of the fridge doors  & scheduling were resolved.   Hence, the reason for an overall B instead of an A rating.
Overall,  they did a good job, the installers were pleasant and went about their job in a professional manner.  The quality of the work and the material is as good as you would expect for a much steeper  price and yes I would shop at the Artistic Carpet Warehouse again.

It was important to me that the carpet be Green Label Plus Certified. I went to one carpet store, the salesman didn't seem to know what I was talking about and then showed me some cheap bulk carpet.
Lowes had only one option for Green Label Plus,: it would cost over $900 installed in my family room.
Went to the Carpet Warehouse. Spoke with Mark, the owner. I told him what I was looking for, he asked a few questions to narrow the options, showed me some budget friendly Green Label Plus carpet. Yeah! He quoted me a price of just under $500 for the carpet installed, based on my measurements. The was including the medium thickness pad. I asked about upgrading to the hypoallergenic pad. That was $60. I told him I needed new tack strips- other places were charging for that- he said no charge for them.
I returned a few days later with my husband. We selected a carpet color and set up a time for Mark to measure the room.
While Mark was measuring, my husband asked him about putting vinyl base molding in the kitchen. Mark quoted $30. It would have cost me that much for supplies to do it myself, so we added that to the order. The quote for the carpet after Mark's measuring was the same as he had told me verbally a week earlier. Our total bill was only higher because of things we asked about adding.
Our carpet was installed the week after Mark measured. He could have installed it sooner, but that didn't work for our schedules.
My husband was home for the install. He said they were a bit late arriving (maybe 1/2 hr), but that the install went simply and quickly.
I'm thoroughly pleased with the carpet. No chemical smells. Looks great. Comfortable underfoot.
Thanks Mark and the Carpet Warehouse for providing a fair price on a quality product.
I would definitely go here if I need carpet in the future.

I was referred to Mark through my realtor after purchasing a home that required basic updating.  Mark came out and quoted us on the job and sent two different individuals out to complete each job (vinyl floors nd carpeting). Both individuals who came out were polite, professional and hardworking.  The cost was outstanding in comparison to other companies.  If you are highly cost conscious but want an excellent job, this is a great company.

I visited "Carpet Warehouse" and viewed samples of the kind of carpet I was seeking. I worked with SAM, and explained that I was moving into a new home and asked for a price estimate AND asked if they would be able to install the day and time I was requesting - which was VERY important, because I NEEDED the carpet installed BEFORE the movers brought my belongings. I was told that they WOULD be there at 9 am and have the work done for me. WRONG!!!!!!!  At 10 am I had to call Sam and ask where they were. His reply was that he did NOT give me a time, and that he will call me right back. About 10:45 I called him back again, and of course - he did NOT answer my call! I felt SO CORNERED that I had NO choice but to leave him a message stating that since he could NOT deliver what we negotiated to, then please just return my $500.00 deposit immediately so I can go to another carpet facility. About noon, the installers FINALLY showed up! ONLY 3 HOURS LATE! By this time, my movers were finishing up - TRYING to stack my belongings anywhere but where it was supposed to go - just because I did NOT have carpet laid for them to place everything where it REALLY was supposed to go!!! FINALLY - while it is nice to get along with the contractors that are working with you, it is NOT nice to have to work with people that have a very RUDE sense of humor! I can appreciate a worker trying to be relaxed - but NOT unprofessional!!!!  At times I actually felt "uncomfortable" in my own home!!!

The installer was right on time, and very friendly yet professional.  He came alone and worked very hard for about 5 to 5 1/2 hours without breaks.  Carried old carpet to back of house.  The quality of carpet is awesome for the price I paid.  Sam is the salesman I dealt with.  He was honest and got the ideal of what i wanted.  A heavy piece of furniture was moved for free, and threshholds replaced.  All in all, great service at all levels.

They installed carpets upstairs in the master bedroom of the bungalow and on the stairs leading to the bedroom. The guy who came to do the work messed the patterning on it and I had to call him back to fix it again. There were mostly vertical patterns on the carpet but the guy had put in some horizontal patters in some places which made the carpet look bad. He fixed it and it looked fine. The company is fine except for the installation guy who messed it up. They obviously represent each other in some capacity due to which I would probably still call them up.

They had the best price and the sales woman, Lori, was an absolute pleasure to work with. The warehouse is exactly that; a warehouse but if you look past the fact that it's not a pretty setup, their carpets are good, their prices were great, and their installers were friendly and excellent!

We were told that the install would be about 3 to 4 hours. Estimate did not state how the steps were to be done, waterflow, or bull nose. The installers were approx. 3 hours late. We called twice to make sure they were installing. The first time the company did not know about the install. Finally, after the installers arrived they stated that the carpet was late being delivered. The installers left at approx. 7:30 in the evening about 3+ more then we were told. Also, they had to return to fix a portion of the steps because the pattern direction was incorrect. I called Mark and the problem was resolved at no cost, but time. Overall, the experience was B-.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND ON SCHEDULED DATE. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ONE KIND OF CARPET IN THE LIVING ROOM AND A DIFFERENT ONE IN THE SPARE ROOM. THEY ONLY BROUGHT ONE KIND OF CARPET (LIVING ROOM) SO THEY INSTALLED IT IN BOTH ROOMS. SINCE THE CARPET HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR, THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ANY ADDITIONAL FEE FOR INSTALLING LIVING ROOM CARPET IN SPARE ROOM. NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR THE ERROR.
