I called Ameriscape's owner, Frank, and requested an estimate. The above figure is the approx. cost to maintain our lawn and beds each month, and includes our Spring and Fall clean-ups and leaf-blowing. (There is an extra charge each year for our Spring mulching.)
We've been pleased with Frank and his crew! They do a great job with our lawn and our beds, and they go the and quot;extra mileand quot;. I like that they are as quiet as possible when doing this. Of course power lawn equipment inherently equals noise, but they quietly load and unload the equipment off the truck--no rough banging and throwing around of equipment! The crew is professional--no loud yelling going on from one to another, no extraneous garbage is ever left on our lawn (i.e. never an empty random water bottle etc.,). We have a small back-yard landscape pond and the crew is careful to make sure that the mower does not blow grass clippings in it. They either remove all grass clippings (or finely shred them??) because I never have an issue with people walking in the yard and then tracking in bits of grass. Sometimes our dog isn't great about putting away her toys (and, ahem, neither are her owners!) and Frank's staff makes sure to gather them and move them out of the way. OK, so these are and quot;little things, and quot; but it puts them at the head of the pack (little dog reference there) of landscapers. For those that pay weekly, Frank allows them to choose one or two (?) times a summer for a mowing and quot;skipand quot;--so they don't have to pay to have their lawn mowed if it hasn't grown. That is also a nice perk! (We used to pay-by-the-week, but it was easier on our budget to work in the Spring and Fall clean-ups and bed weeding/bush trimming and just pay a set amount each week during the yard-maintenance months, so Frank allowed us to pay this way.)
There was an above-ground pool on our property when we moved here that was in need of work, and it took up too much of our back-yard. We removed the pool (with Frank's help) and contracted Ameriscape to level out and seed the lawn that had been covered by the pool. Frank then gave us watering instructions which we followed pretty precisely--and the grass came in wonderfully! Most of our guests can't even tell that there once was a pool in that spot!
Frank has been very reachable by phone or email and then comes to our lawn's rescue the few times I've had any questions or issues. I would be hard-pressed to even come up with a and quot;need for improvementand quot; example, because his service is top-notch! As you can tell, we are very happy customers!
