AMERICAN MIDWEST MORTAGAGE

American Midwest Mortgage company assigned Tim Bradford as my representative. Tim is a very intelligent individual who knows his business. Unfortunately, Tim can not communicate what is needed to get a loan through to the Underwriters and approved in a timely manner. At this point I have been asked to duplicate many entries to the mortgage company and have yet to have a closing date scheduled (currently 3 weeks overdue). Normally something like this is due to information not being given or funds not being present at closing. Unfortunately everything Mr. Bradford has asked for has been supplied in a timely manner and all funds are present to complete the purchase. I still have not received a closing date and can no longer speak to this individual as every time I do he spends countless amounts of time talking around issues and not addressing them. To this point my information still has not been submitted to the Underwriter. The service has been so horrible that I am seriously contemplating walking away from this deal and writing away the 2k I have already spent for my own piece of mind.

TOM LOOKED AT & WORKED UP A VARIETY OF OPTIONS, & GOT US DECENT FINANCING (FIRST MORTGAGE/FIRST-TIME BUYER) DESPITE THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAD RUN INTO AT 3 NEARBY BANKS. HE'S NOT OVERLY FRIENDLY NOR DOES HE SPEND A LOT OF TIME HELPING YOU UNDERSTAND- BUT HE'S DECENT & GETS THE JOB DONE. HAS A VERY BUSY SCHEDULE (TEACHES COLLEGE COURSES) BUT DOES RETURN CALLS AS SOON AS HE CAN. NOT SHY ABOUT GIVING OUT HIS HOME NUMBER & HAVING YOU CALL HIM THERE IF NEEDED! TRANSFERS MORTGAGES TO MAJOR NATIONAL COMPANY FOR SERVICING. WISH SOME OF THE CLOSING COSTS (THE FEES HE CONTROLS) COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE LOWER- BUT THEY ARE INDUSTRY-STANDARD. NO COMPLAINTS, & WE'D CONSIDER SEEING WHAT HE CAN OFFER FOR REFINANCING IN THE FUTURE.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.
