Needless to say the new columns did not resolve the standing water issue of the flat porch. To stabilize the railing they used a inexpensive shelf bracket that was unpainted stamped shelf bracket that rusted within three weeks of installation. Also,the railing  was not attached to the porch. The caulking around the new columns was not put in correctly and we had to do that. The crew  sent to work on improvements had never done this type of work before, they told us this after completing the project, and they had no supervision. They used cold rolled steel screws that rapidly rusted. We made the mistake of paying him before really looking at the finished product. We called him three times after that time to make the needed corrections and he did not return our call.

We have used them in the past at our other house. They installed a roof, siding, and a replacement window. The work was satisfactory and we felt secure in using them. We were greatly disappointed with the quality of the work.

We have gone through them for years and have always been satisfied with their work, but this last time we were not satisfied.  We asked him to do some work on the porch because it was not draining properly.  He guaranteed that after his work it would drain properly, but that did not happen.  His subcontractor did not come back and finish the job properly.  We called the owner of the company to come and look at the job, but he never came.  We also wanted a bid for the front porch for the other items that needed to be done.  He came to give the quote and at that time we asked him to come and look at what was happening and he never came back after that.  Of course we did not call him for the other job.  He just took the money and ran off.  I would not recommend this person or the company to anybody again.  He had to replace what he had damaged while he was working in the front porch.  He did the work, but he never called back.  He did not come back because we had paid him already and he had got his money.  We were satisfied with his work till then and that is why we went with him.  He was terrible in responsiveness.  He just made reasons to explain why he did not come.  He was punctual when he came to get the cheque but not otherwise.  I would never use them again and would not recommend them either.

This company had been highly recommended by my neighbors, who had previously work done by them as well. After talking with other roofers, we decided on American Home Improvement. They arrived on time, did excellent work, and always were very polite and helpful. I asked them if maybe they could help me with moving a piece of furniture as I have some medical issues, and they happily did so. Once the work on the roof was completed, they made sure that there was trash left behind, cleaning up all the little fragments. All of the workers were always very polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend this company at any time!

Great. Fantastic work. I can't complain. They did anything I wanted and solved a lot of problems. The main technician was an artist; the way he cut the siding and such. I will use them again in the future.

Just super. Friendly, efficient, neat, thorough. I'm using them again this year for roof replacement due to a storm that rolled through here in May. They are terrific!

They were punctual and did what they said they would. I was satisfied with their work and their price was comparable to others. They cleaned up well when they were done.
