Stephen and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They showed up early for the job, they were meticulous and extremely professional and courteous. The work was performed thoroughly and expertly. Once the job was complete they took extra time to perform a thorough clean up of debris left from the job. I highly recommend All Engineered HVAC for any HVAC work someone may need.

Stephen had installed the 2 high tech furnaces in my home about two years ago. The price was fair, the installation on time and completely satisfactory. This winter month, on a day of single digits, the furnace stopped working on a Sunday morning. Stephen came within 15 minutes of my call and repaired the glitch, and at no charge. I think he is the greatest.

We'd had three other HVAC contractors look at the job, and it was obvious none of them wanted to deal with the complexity. Much of the existing original ductwork was corroded badly and very poorly designed. Several later modifications to the system were beyond poor (lights installed in ducts, return ducts removed, exhaust vent damaged, etc.). Stephen was the first one who took the time to go through the house thoroughly and spent more than two hours in his initial visit. His price was fairly competitive, and he was always willing to discuss changes to the project and work with us on other ongoing work. He collaborated with us on an innovative solution where we removed an unneeded chimney and used the framed space for HVAC trunk lines and electrical runs. He was also willing to let me do demolition and prep work to reduce overall cost. Stephen visited the house at my request several times before he started work to examine/approve what I'd done and suggest alternate duct routings.
His crew showed up when they said they would and seemed to work in a fairly efficient and professional manner. Overall, the quality of the work was pretty good, including a few minor modifications that were done on the fly. If All Engineered has a downside, it's with a few details that, admittedly, would be nitpicking to most people. I was not very happy with a couple of duct routings that reduced clearance in the basement and elsewhere in the house, the combustion air supply/exhaust vent stack is routed in a strange manner, the wireless programmable thermostats he provided were good Honeywell brand units but were only 5/2 programmable instead of 7-day, we had an issue with clearance for electrical wiring in a couple places that made my subsequent work very difficult, and some of the on-the-fly modifications resulted in more work for me down the road when I finish the walls and do electrical/plumbing.
I'd definitely let All Engineered do more work for me in the future, but I would be a little more careful about defining the project and making sure I was getting all that I wanted. Stephen is very personable, seems quite knowledgeable about the work, and was always willing to talk about our ideas and examine other options. He returns calls promptly and either does the work himself or is on-site very frequently to make sure his small crew is doing things correctly.

Second time I've used All Engineered HVAC to get each of my two high-efficiency furnaces operating after they stopped. Steve Schlesinger provided immediate response, quickly completed and confirmed that job was done properly. He is highly knowledgeable in all facets of heating, cooling, ductwork, and total system design. A true professional.

In addition to quickly diagnosing and fixing the problem, Stephen also told me the probable cost of future repairs that I might need and replacement furnace options. He was courteous, professional, prompt and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience with Stephen. Now that I am in a new home (with older furnaces), I am sure I will be calling on Stephen again for all of my heating and air conditioning needs.

He called me back within a few minutes, and arrived at my house 20 minutes later. He knew exactly what the problem was, and had it all fixed in a few minutes. He was very polite and nice, and even suggested that we change our filters more often to avoid the problem in the future.

Absolutely fantastic. I have a hard time seeing how any other HVAC company could perform better than they did in both service and price competitiveness. We have used one of their competitors in the past, but we will always use All Engineered going forward.

Stephen arrived a little early to service the outdoor condensor coil and compressor cabinet. At the scheduled time, he serviced the indoor components of the system. He was professional and always courteous. We will definitely be seeing Stephen in the fall for routine maintenance of our furnace.

II noticed that my home air conditioning unit was not cooling the air so I called All Engineered HVAC in the morning to see if they could come out to check it. The woman in the office was very efficient and said she would check availability. She called me back promptly to tell me that someone would be out later that day, however,I received a phone call in the early afternoon to say that there was a cancellation and they were able to come out sooner. Stephen was very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong with the system. He was also very accomodating of my work schedule. I'm glad to find that there are still companies that put their customers first.

Stephen installed a new heating and air-conditioning system in our home approximately 5 years ago. The system has been working very well. Stephen comes back every year to check the system and perform any needed maintenance. He is always very pleasant, reliable and hard-working.

I am a home rehabber. I have just joined Angie s list and was surprised not to find him in here. I have a working relationship with him for two years now. Before I buy a home I always have him inspect the furnace and air-conditioning. I have had Stephen install two furnaces for me at two different investment properties. Being that the first house was old we ran into some problems with the installation Stephen stayed till 10 P.M. to make sure the work was completed not to slow me down in the rehab. I was extremely satisfied with his work. The next house he took out asbestos, put in new venting a new furnace and a new air conditioning unit. I have had him make some small repairs at my house on my furnace and air conditioner as, well as, seasonal maintenance. I am extremely happy with his price quality and timeliness I highly ######### him for any HVAC needs. In fact I have ########### him to my mother and he installed a new furnace for her at great price and high quality.
