When I turned on the air conditioner after they came it leaked again. So, I do not believe they fixed the problem. I called and the company and the owner came out and fixed it for free. It worries me that the service men did not know what they were doing. Also, they are way overpriced. They charge more than other companies around.

We scheduled a service call because the outside A/C unit did not come on when we turned on the cooling system. The furnace blower worked but the compressor never powered up. We had checked the breakers and the fuses and all seemed to be correct - this was the first time we tried to use the A/C this season and the whole heating/cooling system was just installed in 2008. This was a Saturday - we scheduled the appt for Monday - between 3pm and 7pm. We waited until Monday at 6:30pm and called because the tech hadn't shown up yet. We were told he was running late and we would be the next stop. He never showed. Finally, at 8:30pm, a tech called and said he got a text that we needed a service call. Obviously, we weren't on the schedule and they called the tech "on call" to service us. By the time he would have arrived, it would have been dark, so he promised we would be the first stop the next day (around 8am). The tech showed up about 9am. The tech was professional, friendly and explained everything he was doing. Turns out the problem was the breaker was off and the fuses were in the OFF position. We must have put the fuses back in upside down after we checked them and then when we reset the breaker, the unit couldn't have come back on. It was really an error on our part. So, the tech did a tune-up and inspected everything and charged us that rate instead of for a service call. He also gave us tips on maintenance we can do ourselves. This company had installed the original system when the home was built and the new units in 2008. They have been the only company we have ever used and they have always been responsive and professional.

Technician showed up on time and put on booties to keep my home clean. I directed him to my basement and he started the furnace tune-up. I told him that I thought that the airflow to my second floor was not very good. He showed me indication of dry wall dust going into my HVAC system and told me that this was likely the cause for my poor airflow. He suggested that I take additional steps to correct my problem. The total cost was in the neighborhood of $1,000. I informed him that I wanted to get a second opinion, and he went into a short spiel on how Airtron was the "Cadillac" of HVAC companies and others would not be able to provide the quality that his company would. He also informed me that he was not a salesman. The technician never went to my second floor to see what the airflow was like. Subsequently I had another company do a diagnosis. After evaluating my concerns and looking over the HVAC system this technician suggested that I do nothing but have regular service performed.

They had come to our house and discussed with us possible replacements for our unit. We didn?t go and shop for it because we were not well versed at all when it came to a combination of furnace and air conditioner replacement. They had charged us the quoted price and the job was finished in the estimated time given to us. It had not taken them more than a day to do the job. We are very, very pleased with the performance of the unit that they?ve installed.

I HAVE HAD AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH AIRTRON FOR SEVEN YEARS. EVERY SUMMER THEY SEND OUT A NOTICE OF RENEWAL AND I USUALLY HAVE THEM CHECK THE FURNACE IN EARLY FALL, BEFORE I NEED IT. THEIR STAFF IS ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THEY TRY TO SCHEDULE THEIR SERVICE AROUND MY NEEDS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. HOWEVER, THE NATURE OF THE WORK THAT THEY DO DOES NOT LEND ITSELF TO PREDICTABLE ARRIVAL TIMES. TYPICALLY, THE INSIDE REP WILL SAY ''BETWEEN 8 AM AND NOON.'' THE DRIVER CALLS TO SAY THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY, BUT THEY CANNOT SCHEDULE ANY MORE TIGHTLY THAN WITHIN HALF A DAY.

WHEN THE TECHNICIANS WERE IN MY HOME THEY WORE COVERS OVER THEIR SHOES. OVER THE WINTER THE FURNACE IGNITER BROKE. IT WAS COMPLETELY FREE TO HAVE THEM COME OUT AND REPLACE THE PART UNDER THE TERMS OF MY MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT $300.! A TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED HE COULD WORK WITH MY FURNACE TO GET A MORE EVENLY DISTRIBUTED AIR FLOW SINCE MY HOME IS ON A SLAB.

YOUR RESPONSE FROM AIRTRON WAS TOTALLY WRONG AND I HAVE SUBMITTED A COPY OF THE CANCELED CHECK PAYING THEM FOR THEIR SERVICES (ON THE DAY RENDERED) THAT THEY CLAIMED I NEVER PAID. THE FACT THAT THIS COMPANY MANAGER LIED GIVES EVIDENCE TO THEIR BUSINESS ETHICS AND PROFESSIONALISM. HIS TOTAL RESPONSE WAS WRONG AND I HAVE DOCUMENTATION THAT FOLLOWS THIS WHOLE PROCESS WITH THEM, ALONG WITH PROOF OF "THEIR" RECEIPTS. WHEN I, IN GOOD FAITH, HIRED THEM TO COME OUT FOR THE BASIC FURNACE CLEANING/SAFETY CHECK AND INSTALLATION OF A THERMOSTAT, WIND UP WITH HAVING TO PAY FOR A SWITCH, AND NOW, A NEW AIR CONDITIONER DUE TO A WIRING ERROR...WHY SHOULDN'T I BE UPSET? OTHER COMPANIES HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST FIXED IT BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR FAULT, AND BE DONE WITH IT. APPARENTLY, THEY COULD CARE LESS. NOW, I HAVE TO SEEK OTHER MEANS TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM OR PAY $7000 FOR A NEW UNIT!

"This homeowner is the next door neighbor of our production manager. We did her a favor as she was unhappy with another HVAC company in town. We replaced a thermostat and a fan limit switch, which broke because the furnace filter was filthy. We educated the homeowner to no avail, and she refused to compensate us for the limit switch, claiming we broke her condensing unit. We attempted to explain that her A/C unit was already broken. We have verified this with the other HVAC service company. We will be happy to give this homeowner a very competitive price on a new A/C unit. Ross Briton Vice President"

SENT 2 YOUNG KIDS OUT TO FIX A/C. I TOLD THEM IT WAS PROBABLY A BROKEN THERMOSTAT. THEY SPENT HOURS TRYING TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WAS A RELAY SWITCH THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED. THEY SAID THE PART WOULD HAVE TO BE ORDERED. FINALLY THE PART CAME AND ANOTHER GUY CAME OUT TO INSTALL IT. HE SPENT 4 1/2 HOURS CONNECTING WIRES THAT THE OTHER 2 HAD LEFT HANGING. ONCE THE PART WAS INSTALLED HE FOUND THE A/C STILL WAS NOT WORKING. HE CHECKED THE THERMOSTAT AND IT WAS INDEED BROKEN. THE THERMOSTAT WAS FINALLY REPLACED BUT I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE HEAT NO LONGER WORKS.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY LATE. SAID B/W 8 & 12. THEY PERFORMED THE SERVICE & PAID THE BILL $73.THEN RECEIVED NOTICE IN THE MAIL OWING $45 BECAUSE HE FORGOT TO CHARGE LABOR. THE COPY OF THE BILL WAS ILLEGIBLE & THE NAME WAS WRONG. TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
