Interior Painting, Wallpaper Removal
Not well. A lot of damage occurred when he removed the paper. He doesn't have the expertise to spackle and repair the walls. I think he should of brought someone in who does. Instead he painted over the areas and had to return repeatedly. It still doesn't meet my expectations.

"WE ARE IN THIS BUSINESS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF OUR CUSTOMERS. THE REQUIREMENTS WRITTEN IN THE AGREEMENT AND APPROVED BY THE CUSTOMER WERE AS FOLLOWS: REMOVE WALLPAPER IN BATHROOM; PREPARE WALLS FOR PAINTING (THIS INCLUDES FILLING ANY STRESS CRACKS, NAIL HOLES, DRIP LINES, ETC.); PRIME AND PAINT WALLS IN BATHROOM. ALL OF THIS WAS COMPLETED. THE CUSTOMER WAS INFORMED THAT THERE MAY BE MOISTURE DAMAGE TO THE BATHROOM WALLS, AS THERE OFTEN IS BEHIND WALLPAPER. THE PAPER TOOK THE TOP OF THE SOFT, WET WALLS WITH IT WHEN REMOVED, SO BECAUSE OF THIS, A STANDARD PREP AND PAINT TURNED INTO A WALL RECONSTRUCT. I WAS NOT HIRED TO RECONSTRUCT HER WALLS ALTHOUGH I WENT ABOVE THE AGREEMENT AND TRIED TO PATCH WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. I COULD HAVE GIVEN HER A NEW BATHROOM ENTIRELY, BUT SHE CHOSE NOT TO HAVE ME DO ANY MORE WORK. I DID ABOUT $800 OF WORK FOR $400. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED THE ROOM LOOKS VERY GOOD. I'M SORRY MY COMPANY WAS UNABLE TO MEET HER EXPECTATIONS."

Eric is a true professional. We especially like how he knew exactly what would look great in our house. He wasn't at all pushy, but he encouraged us to go in a different direction with the finish and the color combinations, and he couldn't have been more right. We were thrilled with the outcome. Eric showed up when he said he would, returned calls, and his price was fair. I'd recommend Eric and A Color Above for any interior paint job.
