I called several repair shops, told them what I had been told by another repair shop (that doesn't do muffler work) and got prices. they varied wildly, for the same work. I chose Washington and Lee because they gave me a reasonable estimate. They were able to get me in right away the next morning, and they had the car repaired before lunch. and they were a little cheaper than anticipated because they were able to repair and not replace one of the parts.

The right front u-joint had to be replaced. The price was much better than Conrad's, they got me in and out within two days. Good work, very busy shop and good prices.

I was mislead about the services they claimed the did to my car. And the doubled charged me for the same service.They also did not perform to do what I originally brought the car in for. They told me my engine was fine in the beginning but when I brought it back thats when they saw what was originally wrong.

They are very good. They are going to replace my struts. Their price and performance are excellent. They give prompt service. They call me up and tell me what the problem is and what is causing it. They don't go looking for anything else unless I tell them. They didn't give me a list of other repairs that need to be done. They are honest and professional. I will use them again in the future.

The workers were very polite, courteous, and explained things well. They fixed the heater the same day. I picked my car from them after work. I would recommend them because they do good work. The mechanics at Washington and Lee do a great job. They installed some new tires for me and they charged me less than they had actually quoted. They are great overall and they do quality work. I will use them again.

I was driving home from work when my car (94 Saturn) made a loud noise and the steering suddenly was barely working and I was able to pull into a parking lot. I called my usual car shop and they were too busy to look at it anytime soon. I happened to be only a few blocks from Washington Lee and so I called them, and one of the owners, Chip, actually got in his car and drove to where I was to see what was wrong. He determined that I could drive it slowly and carefully to his shop rather then get it towed and he followed me there. The left steering control arm had punctured through the rusted out sub frame. He said it would be pretty expensive so I had him look over the rest of the car to see if there was anything else major wrong because I didn't want to do the repair if the whole car was about to go kablooey. I already knew the brakes needed work, which he confirmed, but he didn't find any other major issues so I had him fix everything. It took a couple days and cost quite a bit, but overall, I am satisfied that they did a good job at a reasonable price.

The yearly checkup cost was $50.00.

Everything went well. They were very prompt. They told me it would be done at a certain time and it was done by then and I was called immediately. Very reasonably priced.
