Great job. Jonathan quoted me a fair price, then did the work in a very timely fashion. He and his assistant did the work correctly, cleaned up when they had finished, and just did the work fairly and efficiently. No unpleasant surprises.

Everything went very well...from setting up the appointment to the service.  The electrician was friendly, professional and efficient.  He took some time to explain what happened and what to expect with the other outlets in my kitchen.  I look forward to using IBJ again as I have a very old house with a lot of electrical issues!

When I called Jonathan he offered to come out at the end of his day but I was unavailable.   We made plans for the next morning and I found Jonathan working at my front door where the non-functioning heat cable was located.  He said electricity was there but that the thermostatic control was causing false readings and responses which prevented the snow from melting.  He said he almost never uses the control in his work.  He removed it and said results should be apparent in about 6 hours.  He was very pleasant and friendly and instilled confidence in his ability.  Would definitely call him again for other electrical work.

Excellent work! Very friendly, knowledgable, punctual. I cannot say enough good things about Jonathan and his company. I had to be away from the house, and he texted me about what he found so we lost no time. I love the fact also that he has an apprentice and is training future electricians as well. I highly recommend IBJ!

Technicians were very professional and did an excellent job.

Mr. Johnson came 5 minutes earlier for the appointment. He found that I had no electricity going from my house to the garage ( where I had pervious service). He dug under ground and place and electrical line going from my house to the garage. It took him two trips to complete the job due to my hourly schedule.  ( I want to say he worked around my busy schedule).  He was professionalism, honest, clean up after his job and I have since then called him back to due additional work.

He was on time and was very organized.

He installed an electrical outlet outside that can be turn on/off from inside. Then climbed on a ladder and installed the cable on the roof.

This took a few hours. He did an excellent job.

It's good to see that Mr Johnson is now on Angie's List.
Although the last service IBJ has provided has been some years ago now I have used
him many times before this and have recommended him to family and friends many times,
and is the only company I would consider for my electrical work. Also i noticed the few reviews
so far have mentioned the cleanliness of the crew, and I have to agree wholeheartedly, each day
of the multi day projects it looks as though noone was there working during the day.

John was very professional and reliable.  He provided a very accurate estimate/quote of the services that he would perform and the cost.  He was very punctual and clean.  He also is a great communicator and tells you about the work that he is performing and how the job is going.  I appreciate his professionalism!

I am very pleased with the services performed by Mr. Johnson. He was honest and polite. He even reminded me that I will be getting a 15% senior discount for this service. This made it very affordable for me. I had a  garage that needed to have installed, an electrical line from my house to the garage.
He also updated electrical lines inside my home which added to my safety and peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with him working in my home. He was considerate and clean. I have told all my friends about this service.

I had IBJ Electric install lights to my back deck and also at my back door. They also raised the electrical line up higher from the house to the garage.
Mr. Johnson was prompt and courteous. I felt the price was excellent for the work he did for us. My husband was very pleased with their service. This company was neat and clean, they even swept up after themselves.We moved into this house three years ago and had needed additional lighting for safety and convenience. We are so excited about our new lighting additions. We will definately be using this company again. We are looking to add a chandelier to our diningroom in a few weeks, and a wifi programable themostat, and this is the company we will get to do the job.
