Description of Work: Lisa met with us in the spring to walk around our backyard and listened to our needs. She then developed a plan that we really liked. She had suggestions for what plants to use and how to enhance our current landscaping. Lisa and her crew created terraced areas and stone steps. They cut in some nice curved planting beds, brought in top soil, planted hardy bushes and plants that will withstand the wear and tear of two active dogs, mulched, and added grass seed for a few bare spots. The results are wonderful and are just what we had been wanting.

 + -1 moreLisa and her crew are fast working and professional. We used them last year and will do so again next year. We are very plased with their work, and as a matter of fact they will be doing another small job for us bringing in dirt to fill in some bare spots. This was decided after the other work was complete and should not be counted as 'unfinished' since it was not in the first proposal. We highly recommend More Than Curb Appeal for any landscaping work.
Description of Work: Landscaping, trimming, weeding around the house. In garden area added 21 plants to add color and interest. Added mulch, removed low voltage lights, and completed general Spring "spruce up".

 + 0 moreIts been three years, the brick walk is in like new condition, the ramp and grade of it is perfect, and that was not easy as it has to exactly meet the door level and then slope down to the driveway. All of the shrubs, trees and plants have done extremely well. We get a lot of compliments on the front of our house, and we are just still amazed at how much we like the design. We had them come back and add some more work in the rear yard this past year, and are very pleased. Lisa is wonderful to work with and is a Certified Ohio Nursery Landscaper who really knows her plant materials and how to make the best use of them. We would highly recommend her firm to anyone wanting professional, reasonably priced landscape services.
Description of Work: More Than Curb Appeal did a professional design drawing with labeled species and size, placement and costs. They did scale back the project to meet our budget (we had originally asked for their best recommendation). And they took $3,000 out of the project for us, but kept the major pieces in place so that we could add the details the following year when we could afford more money for landscaping. Lisa was very nice about our requested changes, and made good recommendations on what should be done first, and what could wait a year or more. They installed a brick paver walk that also serves as a handicap ramp for us, re-did the front and side yard landscaping, installed a tree, pulled out many old overgrown shrubs, and cleaned everything up immaculately when they were done.
