Tom's Tree Service

We had a big maple tree that was mature and it split during the storm and we had to have it taken down. When the tree was removed, we needed to have the stump removed. I had Tom's Tree Service come out and they quoted me $175.00 to remove the stump and they seemed like they knew what they could do to remove the stump. He had a chipper. They left a bunch of chips and I had a company come out to remove the chips and add top soil and when they came out they said there was still quite a bit of stump left, 3-4 inches above the ground. I called Tom's Tree Service back and asked that they come back to fix what they did not do originally. They would never come back since it was not worth the 40 mile drive for them to finish the job. So I told Tom that I was going to report him to Angie's List and he stated that it did not matter to him since he was going to retire.

The service was quite good. They were well equipped. They had a truck with appropriate equipment so that they could get the hard to reach trees. They were extremely quick and did a very good job. I spent more than I wanted to, but the price is probably in line with everybody else.

Card left at the door. I called seemed professional. Not on Angies list but 2 neighbors had them doing work.Excellent job. Followed direction and asked how I wanted things. Great job of clean up afterwards. Fully equiped with a boom truck to get to the hard to reach areas so many servics miss.

Tom and David are extremely reliable and always do a great job. They come when they say they will and I will continue to use them for everything for my bushes and trees.

They removed every bit of debris and did a great job.

Very prompt, and they even cut the branch back further than I asked. Did a nice job.

I DID NOT COMPARE PRICES. I ASKED HIM TO LEAVE A FEW LOGS AND HE LEFT TOO MANY.
