"Response to Evaluation: Upon visiting the site, I discovered a white grainy substance on the patio, Ammonia Nitrate, a fertilizer. It appeared to have been applied as an overcast by whomever the condominium association had hired for landscaping. Ammonia Nitrate deteriorates concrete; the application voided the warranty on the work performed. I took a piece of the concrete and had it tested by, Buckeye Ready-Mix, LLC, a concrete batch plant. It was confirmed fertilizer had been applied. I went back to the customer’s residence explained the findings to them and their options. After several phone conversations with the customer they still did not accept responsibility for the damages and wanted me to repair the patio for free; this was not an option since the warranty was voided by the application of the fertilizer. I made several attempts to resolve the issue by offering different solutions, none of which were agreed upon by the customer. I have 16 years experience in residential and commercial concrete and have run my own successful business for the last 7 years. We pride ourselves in quality workmanship and fairness. Our business continues to grow with repeat customers and referrals. Facts about Angie’s List Reviews; The grade a company is given is based solely on the grades members give a company.Only members can assign a company a grade, non-members cannot assign grades. The grade does not take any other factors into consideration. For example, a fair evaluation would consider how long a company has been in business, how many complaints have been filed and the type of resolution that occurred when a complaint was filed. Our current grade is based on one member's grade. – Owner, Joe Krysty"
