Wayne was nice and easy to communicate with but we were disappointed with the quality of the work. The floors are passable, but not perfect. The finished color is not what we asked for, but it is nice. We were talked out of going with a stain, causing the floors to be much lighter than requested. But we would have been okay with the color if the rest of the work has been done well. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There are lines of uneven coloring running across the floor, weird patches, and polyurethane splashes on the tile floor. Wayne had come down in price to match a competitor, and then kept mentioning that he was losing money. We are concerned he didn't do quality work because he decided to lower his price. When we were told that the floors were finished, we were surprised to find they had a rough, sandpaper texture. Our socks were getting snagged on the supposedly finished floor. Wayne did come out and fix this sandpaper texture issue for free, but only after he asked if we would pay him more and we refused. When Wayne was out fixing the floor, we pointed out some of the other issues we had with quality but he did not offer to fix them. We will live with the floors since they look okay, but we find ourselves wishing we had gone with another company

Terry (the owner) came out and did an estimate about 6 weeks before the job was to take place. His estimate was similar to another I had received, but he came highly recommended from my neighbor (a contractor). Terry, his son Wayne, and the 2 Mikes arrived Minday morning and immediately went to work ripping out the existing carpet and then laying the new hardwood. Terry told me he would need about 2 weeks depending on the weather and it actually was dry and ready to be walked on in 9 days, it was very hot and humid so it took an extra couple days for the stain and semi-gloss to dry. They were super professional, worked hard and did a beautiful job on the floors. I had a super dark stain in mind, but after trailing many stains, Wayne and I came up with a combination that was perfect (dark walnut mixed with just a little ebony)! Anyways, I highly recommend Terry and the gang. They did a fantastic job on my floors!!!
