Terrible experience for over $150 to take radio out and put back in with no resolution of issue.

Everything went perfect - We made an appointment when to drop off of the car and when to pick up - Doug even called while working on the car because he found something else wrong with the car audio and got my permission to fix it - They even gave me back all the old items they replaced -

went back 4 times to have side support cover (between the door and vehicle, from the dash to the roof) put back in place (it would snap back out randomly when I was driving), and ended up having my brother-in-law fix it for me). They also only reconnected their 4 replacement speakers (not the entire 8 speaker system in the vehicle). The antenna for the HD radio just doesn't hold a signal at all, and now (12 months after install) the USB cable is beginning to cut out like it has been kinked and has a short from a broken wire. The company has since closed its doors as well, and is out of business.

Very friendly and informative
I wanted to replace a 5 year old factory radio head with blue tooth to add a USB, as well as fix a problem with the aux port. They did a prompt job and the installation looked great.
Things to look for:
Didn't quote for integrating with existing steering wheel controls - that cost an extra $100.
After installation it came to light that the unit did not have Bluetooth as requested. They ordered and installed the unit for free, charging only for the difference in price for the unit.
There was an engine whine that I had to take back twice to fix.

They were very accommodating each time, and definitely willing to make things right. My only complaint would be the lapses in communication that didn't give what I needed for a valid price comparison with the controls and the Bluetooth.

The people listened to my issues and what I wanted in terms of my listening habits. They recommended a radio/cd player that was perfect for my needs. . They did not try to sell me more than I needed nor try to sell me replacement speakers when I had perfectly good ones. In fact, the radio they had first suggested they turned out to be out of stock on, so they upgraded me to the next highest one at no additional cost. They were quick, courteous, clean, and professional in every way.

Had a new stereo and two speakers installed to replace the stock system
in our car. I hadn't purchased a car stereo in about 30 years; they
answered all of my questions, including some pretty obscure, probably
annoying ones about the satellite receiver and the USB audio drive.
Installed the system on the date they said they would, in less time than
they said would be required. Perfectly clean, good-looking install.
The overall process went very smoothly and they were always courteous,
informative and professional. Two thumbs up.

We wanted just a basic CD/radio put in our 1990s Honda Accord; we also needed a new antenna. X-treme Sound gave us an estimate of $200 for the radio, installed, and another $100 for the antenna, which seemed a bit high, but it seems no one does antennae these days. About an hour before it would be ready, they called and said it would be several more hours and another "about $75" because they apparently needed some other sort of converter to adapt to the old system that had been in the car. That would have taken it to $375 by my math. Then they called again to say that the old speakers (which, and I did check but they MUST have known this from the start because they looked up the model and year on line, and checked the car before the estimate) were proprietary to the previous Bose system and would not work with the new system, sorry, you need new speakers. The final charge was $510.00! I d say they nickeled and dimed me to death, but it was more by $50s and $100s. I would have given them a typical B- for that, as one sort of expects that service from Car-Radio installers. But the killer is that two days later the in-dash CD assembly collapsed in the car, and the dashboard frame around it was cracked. The system no longer put out any sound (something key with such things). X-Treme sound tried to say that someone had tried to break into our car (which had been untouched and not driven even in our garage). When I pointed at the BBB plaque which they proudly display in their store they agreed to fix it. No charge, but this is actually the worse part, as they did a real slap-dash job of gluing the dashboard assembly which looks like it was done by a near-sighted amateur. There was sticky glue left all over and obviously poorly sealed cracks. I ve no idea what to do now, the system works, but the dashboard looks terrible; not professional at all. I know of no way to fix it except to try to buy an entirely new dash assembly from Honda. My advice would be to take your business anywhere but here. Even an amateur could do a more professional looking job, and no doubt for far less money.

1. INSTALLATION OF CAR ALARM WAS DONE IN THE AGREED TIME AND AT THE QUOTED PRICE. 2. THE REPLACEMENT OF THE RADIO WAS BILLED TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND DONE ON TIME. HOWEVER, THEIR AGENT AGREED TO CHECK ON OTHER IN DASH PROBLEMS SUSPECTED FROM THE BREAK IN. IT TOOK THEM SEVERAL TRIPS TO CHECK IT OUT AND THEN THEY DID NOT FIX IT. I HAD TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER FOR REPAIR.

THE PRICES ARE GOOD. I CALLED MANY LOCAL SHOPS AND THEIRS WAS THE LOWEST. COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK. I DROPPED MY VAN OFF JUST BEFORE LUNCH. IT WAS DONE BEFORE WE EVEN FINISHED OUR LUNCH.
