Don't waste your time or your money. If their "lifetime" waterproofing doesn't work, they won't do ANYTHING about the damages caused by their faulty work. I had drywall up when they installed their system, yet they're trying to use the drywall as an excuse. Long story short, I wasted over $3000 for their system and I NOW have to pay more money for damages as well as getting a new system because they don't do ANYTHING BUT put their "waterproofing" system in place. They're also COMPLETELY disorganized. BUYER BEWARE.

The finished concrete was unlevel. And had to be fixed to be level which resulted in delays and the assistance of a second company.

I had leaking and bowing block foundation walls in an investment property I recently purchased. Three waterproofing companies gave me estimates, Vulcan included. Cory Halpin came out to write the estimate, and I found him to be straightforward and honest. He was willing to work with me to address the problems in a conservative manner, and with an eye toward keeping my project on budget. In the end we came up with a flexible approach that will address problems in an incremental manner so as to make sure that no unneeded work is done. His crew was efficient and did a fine job. I have no problem recommending Vulcan. Note that they operate in a pretty old-school manner (his quote was jotted down on the back of a brochure, and his invoice was prepared using a manual typewriter and carbon paper!) so don't expect high-tech, just honest work at a fair price.

The basement waterproofing has not had the tent yet, will know when it rains very hard, the sump pump should help.

I was upset on how they did the clean up I wasn't aware of it until they left, the job they performed was good, just the clean up wasn't up to standards.

I had about 10 companies out to provide estimates and I hired Vulcan based upon the knowledge of Gary Stamper who provided my on-site estimate. Gary was significantly more laid back than most of the other company representatives that came out and he seemed very knowledgeable about how to best solve my foundation problems.
The crew that came to the house were all very professional. They stopped to answer any questions that I had and showed me what they were doing as they were doing it. They valued my input and wanted to make sure that they were completing the job to my satisfaction.
I cannot speak to the engineering aspect of the work, as I am not a structural engineer, but I trust that they knew what was best to keep my wall from collapsing.
An earlier reviewer decided not to hire Vulcan because Gary did not give them any sketches of the work that was being done. I did not get them at the time of the estimate either but I did receive them the day the work was to be completed and I am sure they would have given them to me earlier had I asked.
Overall I was very pleased with Vulcan and would highly recommend you consider them if you need foundation repair or basement waterproofing. If you have special circumstances or are looking for something specific just ask them about it because they seem willing to work with each person based upon their individual needs (they did in my case).

The salesman was short, to the point, and very misleading! The work crew was somewhat prompt, very courteous, and kind. Unfortunately, their work was far from uniform, very unstable, and I am actually considering busting up the hack job myself and fixing it myself! Problems were brought to the owners attention and was swiped off and ignored! AKA(worthless Warranty!) So, If you are looking for a sub par job, that needs to be done over again from the start, these are the folks to do it!

The company was responsive from the beginning as far as scheduling and coming out for an estimate and scheduling and performing the work. The only issue we had was that the men doing the work "scooted" the washer and dryer, scraping our concrete basement floor.  We had a very wet basement and given the wet summer, fall, winter we have had following the work, we are quite happy with the work, would have no qualms recommending this company to others, and in fact have.  We would, without a doubt, use them again if need be.  I love the fact that they are locally owned and operated.

I contacted Vulcan and they were able to come very quickly to give an estimate.  Gary came out and explained what they recommended and gave a reasonable estimate.  After getting another estimate, I decided to use Vulcan and they scheduled me about a week out, which I thought was good.  The day they came to work, they stayed on task and got it all done in one day.  They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the debris.

My wife and I were getting ready to purchase our first home when we got a call the night before closing saying that the basement had flooded (lucky break for us). Our realtor got a quote from another company but the seller got Vulcan to quote it and wanted to use them. Vulcan did not quote the same amount of work (somehow the quoter thought the basement was poured when it was obviously block!). When the guys came to do the work (bright and early) I talked to them about the (in my opinion) incorrect estimate. The lead installers were both on my side and we quickly came to a fair agreement to perform the correct work. They worked hard all day with as little disruption as possible (it's a major undertaking don't be fooled!). They even had me come down to see exactly why this was necessary (they showed me the large amount of water that came out of the wall when they drilled into the base). The crew was very nice, efficient and professional. Done in one day and even left me an extension cord for the sump pump because there was not an outlet close enough for the pump's cord to reach!!!

THEY DID THE JOB ON THE DAY THEY PROMISED TO AND FINISHED IT QUICKLY. THEY WERE UNABLE TO FINISH THE JOB BECAUSE OF A PLUMBING PROBLEM, SO THEY AGREED TO COME BACK WHEN IT WAS REPAIRED, WHICH THEY DID.
