Units Moving & Portable Storage

I had friends who used other national chain portable storage and they warned me away from both. After reading other reviews of these companies, one review mentioned Units Portable Storage. I found the website. I submitted the online request for a quote and was called within minutes. The owner, Steve, was pleasant, friendly, and provided a lot of direction in what we might need. The experience from start to finish was great! The storage is well constructed, clean, and well maintained. I would highly recommend. Units is locally owned and that is what sets them apart. You’re not dealing with a call center customer service rep, you’re talking with the owner.

I found UNITS of Cincinnati while surfing the net looking for a portable storage unit that I could keep in my driveway for a few months while a remodeling project was going on inside the house.  On the UNITS site I liked that I could get a quote right away even though it was the middle of the night.  I also liked that they advertised that their units were made in America and they were a locally owned company. The quote also offered a months free rent on the unit if I rented it for 3 or 6 months.
The next morning I called the company and spoke directly with Gordon Wright, the owner.  He was pleasant and helpful. Gordon looked up our house up on Google maps to verify he could install the unit.  We explained that we wanted the opening of the unit to be facing the back of the driveway so as to have easy access to the back door where we would be bringing things out of the house for storing. He said they would make sure that it was delivered that way.
We made arrangements to have a small unit delivered two days later, in the morning.  His driver, Grover, called us to give us a 30 minute notice that morning as to when he would be arriving.  Grover worked to place the unit where we wanted in the driveway. We appreciated that Grover suggested that we put some boards under the feet of the unit as the circular feet of the unit could leave an indentation in our blacktop driveway.  Once the unit was placed correctly, he made sure it was stable and didn't rock, taking time to add some cardboard on the outside corner of the unit to guarantee it was stable.   The interior of the unit was clean with a hard wood floor.
We will be keeping this unit for several months.  I will do another review when it is time for the unit to be removed.
I was very pleased with UNITS of Cincinnati and would recommend them to anyone who needs temporary portable storage.
