Fantastic-Wonderful-Perfect!

They began by removing the doors from all of our 40+ kitchen cabinets. These were taken to their workshop for cleaning, staining/painting, varnishing and sealing. They did the same process with the cabinet frames in our kitchen. It was hard work and they did an outstanding job. They also painted the walls with a faux finish to look like stucco and stone. They stenciled grape vines and grapes on parts of the walls. They created 3 dimensional brick sections in selected areas to simulate where the stucco chipped away. Then they applied a product to add varied texture and finally sealed the walls with 4 colors of varnish blended to complete the aged look. It is jaw-dropping beautiful and everyone who has seen it so far, including several other contractors have been blown away by how great the kitchen looks. These guys see a lot of work in homes and they all agreed that the quality of the work done by Unique Coverings was exceptional. They did everything they said they would do and more, completed it on time, and are willing to come back to finish some small details that will need to be done after the other parts of our kitchen rennovation are completed.

Teresa was in my home doing work for a totally unrelated matter. We started talking and shooting the breeze. We had had some work done last July in the kitchen with faux finishing and it just did not turn out the way we wanted. I had started repainting the kitchen before she got to my home and while talking I brought up that I wasn't happy with the faux finish. While we were chatting I found out she has her own business that does faux finishing and cabinet refinishing. I asked to see her work and she brought in a huge portfolio and showed me all of her work. She is amazing and my husband and I are in total awe of what she did. We wanted our kitchen to look like a villa in Italy after a trip we took and she just did a great job portraying a Tuscan villa.
