U-HAUL

The ease of checking in and out was simple but there are so many and quot;extraand quot; costs. My rental was supposed to be $29.95 plus $.99 per mile. And then I was responsible for putting gas in the truck to match what it left the lot at. Well the gas gauge didn't work right at the gas station. I only drove the truck about 20 miles round trip. I put in 3 gallons of gas and the gauge didn't move at all. So I put in another 4 gallons. Again the gauge didn't move. So I added another 4 gallons and then the gauge moved but I ended up added a whole quarter of a tank more than it left with. The guy at UHaul said the gauge's do that sometimes for safety reasons. I spent $41 on gas - about $32 more than I needed to. This was a rip-off!!!

After first stopping at the Tri-County location and being totally ignored by the GM who was obviously having a bad life day... I drove out of the way to the Colerain location, where I was treated with professional , responsive employees. I rented the first U-Box, which they easily hooked up to my truck and explained carefully how to load it to reduce shifting. I returned the loaded container that day, which is in storage at their location. I will pick up the second in a few weeks to complete the loading and then they will be shipped out west. I have called once to ask some questions which were answered quickly. I am confident that all will go smoothly from here on out, and if we do have any issues, I will be dealing with Pros.. not jerks.

THERE IS A PASSWORD TO GET INTO THE GATE, SO THE PLACE IS SECURE. IT'S OUTDOORS and DOESN'T HAVE ANY CLIMATE CONTROL. BEING ON COLERAIN AVENUE, IT IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE. I'M HAPPY WITH IT.
