My brother was doing the remodeling construction work. Travis has been used for many things. He just took out the wiring on my hot tub. Where those wires came through he pulled them back through my house in the attic. He put in new wiring and put a new box in my back yard. I have a four-way plug in box in my back yard with a plastic housing. They do everything according to code and Travis only does it by the book. It cost me more than I thought it was going to cost me to utilize what was only a plug for a hot tub. Travis is good. He is not the fastest guy in the world, but he is according to code. When he does my work I give him my credit card to go out and get what he needs. That is the kind of guy he is. I have known him for a long time. The work in the back yard cost about $300 -- and that's parts and labor. He also recently did some work on the bar in my basement with rope lighting around the bottom of my bar.
It took him about a month to do the work. It could not have been any better.
He works for himself, on the side. He is a great guy. He worked for a company that did electrical work for the company I worked for. When I was getting my basement remodeled I asked him if he would do the electrical work for that. That was 13 years ago. He will be out to my house next Monday because we are doing electrical work in my backyard with lighting. He is going to be working two or three days next week to get a project in my backyard done. Travis has done lots of things at my house and for other relatives. Travis is a great electrician and he is one of the good old boys from Northern Kentucky who works for cash money. He makes money on the side and does not take any shortcuts. He does everything. It took him 6 months to do it. He worked a h*ll of a lot.
