They did an excellent job and were efficient.  Scheduling was perfect with them.

They did a good job on the carpet, moved some furniture as needed and were professional.  The cost exceeded an estimate given by telephone in which measurements were given.

I would recommend them to others. They did a good job. The rugs came back feeling really soft and they felt really clean. The quality is very good.

They are excellent. They do all of my carpets, they do a great job. They are thorough. In terms of just doing my regular carpet they do as well as anybody but as far as doing my oriental carpet they are expensive and need special care. They come and pick those up and take them and clean them and bring them back and lay them down. It is always done with great care.

They were very good. This was mid area rugs, not wall to wall carpeting. I picked and spent about $350 for 2 large rugs and 1 medium trouser. I did not expect a fine result. They were quick and did a good job.

Work was completed expertly and quickly. There is a discount for bringing rugs to the store, so we did this.

I was very pleased with all aspects of this repair.  The staff (which I think are family owners) were very courteous, friendly and helpful.  The carpet was repaired and cleaned by the date they quoted me, and the cost quoted was right on target.  I highly recommend them. I couldn't locate anyone who was willing to touch the carpet or even had ideas about how to repair it.  These folks handled it all in stride.  Another carpet repair company referred me to this company.

While the company would have picked up and delivered the rugs, we chose to take them in ourselves to save time and extra cost for the pickup and delivery.  The rugs were cleaned and we picked them up.  They were clean and in good shape and the people there were helpful and pleasant.  We were pleased with the work.

Everything turned out very good with this company. Any time I need my rugs cleaned this is the company I will call. I really like how they will come and pick up the rugs and bring them back when they are clean. The crew is very friendly, professional, and punctual. They are very respectful of you belongings as well.  If you need a rug repaired they will do a fabulous job. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this company. They will not try and up sale you on any of their services.

Gfroerer does a great job of cleaning valuable oriental carpets, regardless of whether they are made of wool, silk or cotton. We have had them clean our wool carpets from Turkey several times. I called and scheduled a pick-up because the carpets are heavy and large. The sizes are: (1) 300 cm x 208 cm or 10 feet x 7 feet, (2) 280 cm x 182 cm or 9 feet x 6 feet, and (3) 3 feet x 4 feet. The carpets came back very clean and the two men who delivered them laid them down and moved the furniture back as well. I've always been very pleased with Gfroerer and would use no one else. They've been in business a very long time.

The person who answered the phone was friendly and well informed about the business. The inside work was scheduled within five days. I dropped the area rugs off myself to take adavatage of the 20% discount for doing so. I have used the Gfroerer Compnay in the past; will use them again in the future; and highly recommend them to anyone needing their carpets cleaned.

They do good work and are just wonderful. I am so pleased that they don’t advertise on television because I don’t trust companies that do. It seems like a low-key, no bells and whistles kind of operation; you call up and they make the appointment. I like them. The stairs go in from the outside to the upstairs and they were filthy, but the The Gfroerer Co worked really hard, and now the stairs look good. I haven’t received the bill yet. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future.

They do not charge by the foot and so the price is cheaper. They also have a large warehouse area where they dry them and put them through the machine several times. They are very efficient. They deliver for you, but you can get 20% off if you take the rugs in yourself.

They are awesome. I you take the rugs by Wednesday the turn around time would be less. They do a very thorough job of cleaning. They accept only cash and checks. It is a family run business and they are very honest.

Gfroerer has come twice within the past year to clean my staircases, which are carpeted in 100% wool, light-colored Karastan berber-style carpet. Both times, they offered me a very quick appointment, arrived on time, and worked quickly. The crew was friendly, polite, and helpful, and the job they did was very thorough. The dirt and stains came right out, with no damage or mess. In the past, they also repaired, cleaned, and stored a very large antique Persian carpet for me, and did a magnificent job on all counts. I will hire them - and only them - again.

I was told an approx cost (discounted if I brought it in instead of having it picked up). I chose to have them pick up the rug since I live north of the I-275 loop. Angie's list told me they would not service my area, but they will - so this will need to be corrected. The rug was extremely dirty as my college age son had it for 3 years without cleaning it. They were able to get all but two stains out of the rug and those can barely be noticed. The rug is multi-colored with two shades of gray, ivory and black. When they called to set up the return it was noticed that there was a slight odor in the rug. At that time I requested they apply a deodorizer. There is at present no odor in the rug, it looks great!

They did a fantastic job! The same two guys that did the work have worked for this company for a long, long time. It was incredible and when I need my carpets cleaned again I will use them! I found out that other carpet cleaning companies actually take the oriental rugs here to be cleaned!

This was just a general maintenance cleaning;no stains, damage, or other issue. I got clean rugs and some free advice about taking care of them. Also got the 20% discount for taking them in, although I did have to ask for that. I wouldn't have known about it if not for other reviews here. They do come to your car to carry the rugs inside for you, and reload them in your car when you pick them up.

I felt like they did a fine job, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. I've known about them for a really long time and have taken things to them for a number of years.
