The cabinets were to be installed on October 9th and 10th, with the counter tops to come a week later. The installed the lower cabinets first, realizing after the sink cabinet was installed, that the lady who came out to measure the cabinets, had measured the refrigerator incorrectly. Instead of halting the installation we had to change out 2 cabinets on site, the cabinet encompassed on window trim, which had to be removed. They refused to reimburse me for the window trim, and I had to replace out of pocket. The Asian lady who measured the cabinets was more focused on her phone and rushing out, that she measured incorrectly. When they began to install the upper cabinets, they realized the glass inserts for the doors were not what we ordered. Turns out the Asian lady stuck again, she ordered the wrong glass. The upper cabinets were installed without glass, which had to be reordered. They began to install the island, which contains a 6 inch vent duct. The installers, who wreaked of Marijuana, cut the hole a full 12 inches in diameter, leaving a HUGE gap between the floor of the base cabinet and the vent duct. Thus ending the first day, with minimal cabinets installed. On the second day similar to the first day, the installers showed up at 1pm in the afternoon, with NO notification that they would be late. Once arrived they began to install the wood veneer, which covers the exposed ends of the cabinets. The Asian lady strikes again, the wrong veneer was ordered, we discovered this after they had already glued the incorrect on. As such this had to be ripped out, an the correct veneer had to be ordered. 10 days would have to go by, until the correct materials were to arrive. The Granite Depot never bothered to keep us notified when the project was to continue. We would have to contact them, and wait for a response. Finally when the materials arrived they did not bother to notify us, they just showed up one morning, to install. It was pure luck that we were home, otherwise we would have to wait. They began to install the remaining cosmetics, the veneer, and the would trim. Hey had to borrow my drill and tools do the installation as they left tools with another crew. Wreaking of marijuana, they began the trim work. The Veneer was cut with a dull blade leaving the cuts splintered and looking terrible. The molding around the cabinets was only partially installed, and we had to point out that the finish work was not complete. Doors were installed crooked, and overall TERRIBLE JOB. We had to put together a LONG list of items which needed to be corrected. The only person who would contact us was the sales rep in the Florence Store "Nick" the owner or manager was a complete COWARD, and refused to contact us. They came back a week later to complete the trim work, with NO notification that they would be doing the work, they just shoed up. 3 weeks after the original install date the granite was installed. This was a separate crew, who was very professional and did a good job, with one exception. The cabinet were the infamous Asian lady screwed up the measurement. They cut the backsplash too short. It is now the end of November, we still needed: The backsplash fixed, an insert piece for a knife drawer to center it, (the original piece was taken by the first crew and thrown away) a second missing garbage can, cabinet doors we had to order as the cabinet where the stove insert would not allow for drawers. (Our fault, but they should have pointed this out, as they are the "professionals" Finally on December 4th the came to fix the backsplash and bring the remaining items which were missing. All were corrected, with the exception of the backsplash as the piece they cut was not the same width. Two days later on December 6th the installation was completed by the granite team who did not wreak of marijuana. The quality of the materials: cabinets and granite were fair to good. The work and installation was absolutely TERRIBLE. This company just opened a store on Houston Road in Florence, KY. I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY COMPLETELY.
