The Blind Factory

Horrible. Delayed. Then they installed wrong blinds. Positioned one set improperly. Cracked the walls in two places. Owner does not respond to phone messages or requests to be contacted. Day after job was completed he called to threaten court action for holding back payment tills walls could be repaired properly. Initial order placed in July 21. Job completed September 27th. At no point did anyone from this company even so much as apologize or show any interest in customer satisfaction. They are duck and cover, blame game folks.

The sales woman (Kathy) was extremely knowledgeable; she helped me select the perfect color. The installation was easy and done earlier than stated. I would call Blind Factory again.

We wanted blinds for our screened in porch. I did some comparison shopping and was pleased with their choices and cost. They came to our home, measured and I ordered the blinds. Two weeks later, they were ready to install (just as they had promised). We could not be happier with the result. They look great, the installation was flawless (and fast). We'd use them again in a minute. They did exactly what they said they would do...and they did it right the first time (which is unusual these days).

Kevin arrived at 9:10 am which was fine with me having a 9:00 am appointment.  He was nice and did a very good job.  I was very happy with the cost of the 9 windows they did for us.  Ed was very nice working with helping me decide on the vertical blind for my large kitchen window.   He was also helpful in helping me select the color for that blind.

When I called on Wednesday about the blind only pulling up on one side, he said that he could restring the blind and that it would be ready on Monday.  Actually, the blind was ready the next day, on Thursday!  Their business location is convenient, nice presentation inside, as well as outside, and sell many parts.  Everyone was professional on the phone and in person.

they did a great job.  were very punctual and were able to manufacture these custom shutters in a matter of weeks.  most other companies outsource to China, but these were made here and priced better than competitors.

They did a very nice job. They were very good. They were very professional. They delivered what they said and they were on target for price. They didn't come back with anything outrageously high. We used them because we looked up on Angie's List and they are really pretty high on the reviews. There was a group that was lower cost but I didn't trust them as well. They did exactly what they said when I called and they were very responsive. He was late but he got lost, so I can't blame him for that. He did call to let us know that he was lost. He was trying to get the job done and he didn't feel well. He wasn't sure if it was just allergy or cold or what, but he was apologetic and refused to shake my hand, try to keep his distant because he didn't want to spread it but he still want  to get the job done, and that was appreciated.

Perfectly. They were not able to fix a blind I had brought into them, which  is a service for which I have used them multiple times.  I gave them measurements and the blind I wanted. They ordered and then called to schedule install.  usually i do installs myself but this was a long blind headrail. their cost was very reasonable ($75) considering they had to bring it all the way to KY and install it.  Installer was on time, courteous, no problems. Very satisfied.

I couldn't have asked for more competent and courteous service.  This company is on my GO TO list for future service.

The service went well. I would recommend them.

Staff was pleasant and professional, from the home-visit estimate to the installation.  The installer was really excellent and meticulous  in his work.  He had to return a few times to adjust closure of the automated shade above front door.  On the final visit, he brought the manufacturer's rep. to accomplish full closure and function of the automated shade.  I was definitely "ok" with this action.  (The windows were  measured accurately for a good window treatment fit...a vital component to the whole process.)
The entire transaction was pricey.  However, I don't know where one can find quality blinds and installation for a lesser price.  I guess this cliche applies--"you get what you pay for".  Yes, I would use this company again.

They were a good company to work with. They were an easy company to work with. I thought it could have been slightly better, but no complaints they got the job done. When they came to our house they were polite and respectful and sought our needs be met. They send a designer who prepares the order, and the miss they sent was excellent. She knew her stuff very well and had excellent recommendations.

They came out and gave us a price. The price seemed very reasonable. They are all white, made of wood, and custom cut for the windows. They look great and function great as well. They had another set of blinds that matched our kitchen cabinets perfectly. The installer had informed us that this was the biggest order he had seen. They finished in the job in about an hour. They worked very quickly and professionally. They made the extra effort to provide great customer service. They're are local company that provides great service.

I called them on 1/30/08 & shutters were not in yet (6 weeks). I called again on 2/11, 2/15, 2/20, 2/26 and left voicemail messages on their machine. No call back. I called today on 2/28 & was told they were in & installation was scheduled. I told them I would be complaining that it took 11 weeks. No apology was given, and no offer or incentive provided to resolve my dissatisfaction with length of time.

The price is very reasonable. They do a very good job. They show up when they say they will. The installation is done great the first time. If you would have a problem they seem to be right there to help you. They are very helpful on how to clean the blinds as well.

ORDERED 3 MORE BLINDS. I FIND THEIR WORK AND AVAILABILITY EXCELLENT.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN CHOOSING THE BLINDS THAT I WANTED AND NEEDED FOR MY OWN HOME . THEY WERE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED WITHIN 1 WEEK. THE INSTALLER GAVE ME IDEAS ON HOW TO BEST CARE FOR THEM. BY CHECKING OTHER LOCATIONS, I DISCOVERED THAT THEIR PRICE WAS EITHER THE SAME OR SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN OTHERS. COMPARED THE OTHER PLACES THAT I CHECKED THEY WERE MUCH MORE HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE.

THE LADY WHO CAME OUT TO MY HOME TO MEASURE MY WINDOW BLINDS WAS SO PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME AND POLITE. I BELIEVE THE BLIND FACTORY WAS REASONABLY PRICED.

IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. EVERYONE WAS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL, INCLUDING THE PERSON IN THE SHOWROOM, THE PERSON WHO VISITED OUR HOUSE, AND THE INSTALLER. THE BLINDS LOOK GOOD AND ARE EXACTLY WHAT WE EXPECTED.
