The gentleman that showed up to take care of our plumbing needs was courteous and professional. The only negative I have to cite is that Tarvin forgot about my appointment. However, they did have someone at my house withing 3 hours of the missed timing.

Replaced in a few hours, no problems

We did not go with the quote to fix section of underground pipes to the street. We had an alternative done to save time money and damage to gardens, bushes, trees and concert.

Punctual. Two plumbers came and were working simultaneously on my 2 issues. Very respectful. I had to change my appointment time 3 times, they were very nice about it.

Our hot water heater went out, and we have 5 teenagers so time was of utmost importance. When I called the girl who took the call and schedule the appointment was great! She was courteous and very helpful. They were able to send a technician out within 2 hours and called to let me know when he would be there. We he arrived, it seemed as if he was not familiar with the unit we had. Our water heater is almost 10 years old, and his first recommendation was to replace it. I asked him for options and alternatives along with pricing the new unit. He came back with pricing of a new unit between $1550 and $1750 depending on the warranty period or replacement parts totally almost $1000. While he was getting pricing, I researched the manufacturer, local service technician (which I should have done first) and called them. They told me over the phone it sounded like the flame rod sensor needed to be cleaned and that it was an easy fix. Sure enough...the other company (Call Tim Ryan, Inc) came out and within an hour and $150 I have hot water. Overall, I don't want to spend a fortune for a possible minor repair.

The most upsetting problem was the time it was going to take to get an appointment!! I was told 1week, but if they were in area and they had finest a job early, and if they can get a hold of you they wouldstop bye and fix the job!! Than, sat in van for 5-10 min than came in. Then when I ask if they could fix another faucet, they said "You have only 20min left on your hour, No". Don't think they like the coupon. Would not recommend to anyone.

The plumber arrived on time, inspected the problem, explained it to us, and efficiently executed the job. He was clean and professional. The company scheduled us in a timely fashion for the repair as well.

Upstairs toilet was leaking into a bathroom downstairs. Tarvin came out and fixed the issue. They were prompt and courteous.

We had a very old faucet that was leaking. Called Tarvin, and told them we needed it completed by June 21, 2013. They immediately called back and told us they would do it by that date. On June 20, they called and said someone would be at the house within 15 minutes. Jim came, was very nice, and although he had some trouble getting all the water up so he could solder, he did it, put in the new faucet, and made sure it was working properly. We have used Tarvin previously, and we would certainly use them again.

They were very friendly, made sure that they had a pc of carpet under their tool bucket at all times, they were prompt, they fixed the problem quickly. I would hire them again.

They were busy so took a few days to install. When arrived they performed the work quickly.

It didn't go as well. I used their big deal prior to the service I just had done with Flow-Rite Plumbing. It was a coupon towards services. They took longer than the service allotment in hourly and we did have to pay additional charges that weren't agreed upon before time. They were trying to improve the flow of the sink but they ending up damaging it irreparably. So I had to get Flow-Rite to take care of it.

We were completely satisfied. The technician showed up on time for both appointments and did a great job both times to complete the work we had agreed. He was a pleasure to work with and cleaned up completely after his work. He even identified another small problems and fixed it directly. We will definitely use this company again for future work.

I chose this company because of my initial call. After explaining my needs, the customer service representative gave me information that saved me money. When I acquired the hardware I took advantage of their "big deal" on Angie's List. I called on a Friday and the appointment was made for the following Tuesday. The serviceman called me forty minutes before he was to arrive to tell me he was on his way. The serviceman was personable and communicated with me about what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also gave me tips on how to take care of the faucets and sink. Excellent work and customer service. I would definitely call them for my next plumbing needs. AAA+ plumbing company.

Wonderful experience. Contacted Tarvin Plumbing and received a quote for a water heater that included everything (product, labor, etc.). I was told they would be able to come out that day to fix it. I shopped around for other places and Tarvin had the best price for the same exact product. I called Tarvin back and they still worked me in that day. I received a call 30 minutes prior to the appointment and I let the plumber into my house. I felt comfortable leaving him in my house without me there so I could go back to work. I received a call when the work was finished. Everything was very clean and orderly when I returned home. Very happy with my experience with this company.

They did fine. They got the job done and did it a most cost effective way they could for me. They came out last October. There were some extra charges and the coupon I bought over Angie's List just decrease the amount of the bill.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Tarvin Plumbing. We were pleased with what they had done. They were excellent and we were very impressed with how knowledgeable they were. They took time and we were able to explore the different options we had. We were looking at whether or not we should put tankless water heater in, put 2 water heater in or just 1 large water heater and we went over all our options with them. They told us the difference in the piping, how much it would be costing us. They came in on time, did the job, came out. It was clean. We had no problems with them. Everything has been beautifully done. We will use them again this summer.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Tarvin Plumbing. We were very happy with them. The garbage disposal was just new, so we just took care of that and then had them come back to look at that. The hot water heater was dripping randomly and he thought it was because the excess tank splatter is compromised.

Showed up on time and was very quick to assess all my needs during his visit before he got started. Was friendly and knowledgable. Had work done on Thursday and then left to go out of town on Friday. When we came back Sunday afternoon our laundry room was covered in water from the sink leaking again. I called the emergency number and told them my situation and how I thought they had fixed the problem. Staff was very friendly and had to call boss to make sure he could change his schedule for Monday morning. Called me back within an hour and made me his first stop the next morning to take care of the issue. No fuss, no additional charge, just fast and friendly service. We haven't had any problems with our sink. Would definitely use their service again.

We had used Tarvin 15 years ago for a total bathroom remodel in preparation for listing our home, and we were delighted with those results. This time, we faced a long punch list of "to-dos" in advance of selling again, and decided to call Tarvin again to replace a broken drain plug assembly underneath a bathroom sink. The folks at Tarvin were immediately responsive and came out within a few days, just as agreed. The technician was courteous, professional, and fast. We took advantage of the online coupon deal. We're happy to have rediscovered Tarvin and believe you will find them to be courteous, competent and fair, too.

From the first time I called Tarvin Plumbing, I have been very pleased with the customer service. Incredible! Also, when Dave, the plumber, came to the house to do the work, he was pleasant, efficient, hard working and got the job done beautifully. Can't say enough. You get what you pay for. :)

Excellent and fast! Jim knew what needed to be done and he performed the role will skill and efficiency. Also provided good ideas on how to make more efficient use of the master bathroom. Used the coupon - good value for money!
