It went very, very well. The Plummer (Ellis) did a great job.

I bought the big deal for one hour of service for $54.00. I had them out to repair a leak in my bathroom drain, and he cleaned out the drain below the stopper. He was here about 3/4 of an hour. Within a week or two the stopper in the same drain was broken, so I called him out again thinking it was something he had done since it was so soon. It took him a couple of weeks to get back out. The rod was broken off for the stopper. I felt he should have noticed the rod needed to be replaced during the first visit since he was under the sink and working in that exact same spot, however, he charged me for another visit. He did only charge me for 2/3 of an hour instead of a full hour the second time. The reason I gave a B for professionalism is because I think a workman coming into the house from outdoors should remove shoes or wear booties over shoes, and he did neither. FYI, the reason I have avoided sending a review is because I don't like my name and address being put on the website. I would have preferred being anonymous.

Went well but he forgot to relite the water heater and had to come back.

They do a great job. They are now our favorite plumber in Cincinnati. We forgot to use the coupon for the first downspout they repaired and they graciously accepted it for this repair.

He was neat and polite. The job was done well. My only problem was that I paid online for the special on the preceding Wednesday and the work was done on Tuesday. We had a weekend and a holiday in between so they may be quicker to respond if you buy the special on a Monday.

Great! They came out the next day, and because the original plumbing is "odd" they had to go get the part to fix it. They cleaned up, were professional and friendly. We will use their service again if needed.

I purchased a BIG DEAL coupon from Angie's List : $54 for ONE hour of plumbing services. I called and scheduled an appointment for that week. Tarvin Plumbing called to confirm that morning and when they were on their way. Two plumbers came to the house. They unclogged TWO drains in the one hour time span. The bathtub drain needed a special machine - snake to clean pipe. The Bathroom sink just needed a powerful plunger. Both drains work perfectly now. The workers were professional, courteous, friendly, informative

Arrived on time and performed the work quickly. We had used the Angie's List Big Deal which saved us 1/2 off and was well worth it. They finished earlier than the hour we had paid for and they asked if there was anything else we needed. So I had them look at some other work as well.

This was the charge to give an estimate for work that was already going to be costly ( replace sewer line from the house to the street) I have already called numerous other companies and this is the only one who wants to charge for an estimate.

Everything went perfectly. Great communication. More than exceeded my expectations. Good prices too.

During my initial discussions with them, they indicated that it might be possible to fix the old faucet so I appreciate that they tried offer a low cost option. They returned promptly and didn't try to force me to purchase a faucet through them but gave me the option. They gave good advice on where to purchase the new faucet if I didn't want to buy it from them. The new faucet works great.

We bought the Big Deal of 1hr of time for $54. He was out for about an hour and a half fixed a toilet that was suddenly leaking a lot every time it was flushed (talk about timing!). He added stoppers to the hot and cold water handles and advised me about the PVC pipe that had some slight leakage. All in all it was a great experiance and if we need a plumber again we'd definitely call them.

It didn't turn out so well actually. What happened was that I had a minor problem underneath my sink. I'm not particularly handy. So I felt it would be better to get a plumber. So I purchased the deal. It was only a very small amount of work and the charge was relatively small. So what I ended up doing was paying him separately and I still have the deal. Unfortunately for me, I'm unlikely to need any plumbing in the near future. So it's probably not one of my famous moments. At least we still got it there if we need it. They performed the work very well. They were on time and very quick.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It took much longer than I expected. It was essentially half price for the first hour. They were here for 2 1/2 hours so I essentially got an hour for free. They came the same day that I bought the service. We were not sure what clogged the outgoing drain; whether it was roots or not. They didn't use a camera, they just used the power auger. They needed an awful lot of auger. They were not the least expensive or most expensive. It looked like they cleaned up but it was still damp.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it turned out pretty decent. It was a little more expensive than I thought, but that's alright. At first it was a little sketchy, but they turned it around and did an excellent job on everything. I paid about $50 extra for additional service. They figured out what the actual true problem was. It turned out not to be the toilet, but was something along the bathtub .

After a slight mistake, everything went perfectly. The plumber was attentive, punctual and very customer focused . Mike Tarvin followed up personally, which was greatly appreciated. Tarvin will be my choice for any future plumbing needs.

Removed old garbage disposal, plumbing lines and shut off valves. Sink already in place. Installed new faucet, garbage disposal, and strainer/rings in bottom of double sink. Replaced water line shut-off valves (I requested this after plumber arrived-had new counter installed and installers highly recommended old shut-offs be replaced). Very tight solid job. I did not have strainers, forgot I needed those too, but the serviceman had everything he needed on the truck to do the job. The plumber went about his business efficiently even though there were other contractors working in the area. No problems, very pleased.

The plumber arrived exactly at the appointed time! I explained that my sink was slow-draining and sometimes the dishwasher backed up into it. He took everything out of my under-sink cabinet and went to work. He worked quickly and without making a mess. Everything he needed, he had with him. Very quickly my sink was emptying at an appropriate speed. He asked if I needed anything else done while he was here (I didn't), cleaned up, I thanked him and paid (a few dollars of tax above the Big Deal price) and he left. My sink continues to empty quickly, and I would definitely use Tarvin again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was wonderful. I paid extra for parts. I would definitely recommend them. They were prompt, polite, neat, and friendly. The price with the big deal was good.

It went fine. I called I bought a coupon offered for a discount and brought my price down to just over half of their normal hourly rate. We agreed to not set an appointment. They offered to set an appointment but we agreed they would call when they were in my area and had time to take on my problem. Two days later they called, they came and they fixed the drain. They also warned me that in older homes the snake might hit a weak place in an old pipe and cause a leak on a lower floor. They had me check before they left and also checked my water pressure as a precaution. I would happily use their services again.

They called the morning of the service, as they said they would, to give an estimated time of arrival. They were prompt, professional and quick. Once the original issue was fixed he offered to check other issues as he was going to need to charge for an hour of service. He checked the water pressure coming into the house and replaced a part in the bathroom faucet as well. He even advised the online coupon was a better deal than the $25 off a service call coupon I had and waited while I purchased it online. I could not be happier with their service and would definitely use them again. Have already recommended to family and friends.

Prompt and courteous service. He quickly diagnosed the problem which had never occurred to me, and fixed it with no problems. He also provided me with information so that I knew how to prevent problems with the sewage injector from occurring again.

Called to set up appointment and the service tech was on time and very professional. He explained the process and the quality and possible problems of the fixtures we purchased. Then he installed them very well without much delay and checked the performance and mechanics of the new faucets. We are very satisfied with the work and service from Tarvin Plumbing.

It took about three days to hook up. Once contact was made, everyone was very professional. I would consider hiring them again, but it would depend on the price they quote. The total cost was $135.

It went fine. They were really helpful. I was pleased as a new Angie’s List member and coupons offered to me. He was done well within thirty minutes. In addition to that, he did a courtesy check of the water pressure.
