It went very well. We were very happy with them.

I needed help with my water softener. I got this coupon and schedule the appointment. This part was easy and fast. A tech came the next day, so I was happy they can get someone here so soon. So, A tech came in for 15 min out of which 10 was talking and telling me that he didn't know the brand of the water softener nor who services. He said, because I didn't have a manual to google the info. Really? Like I would have paid $90 for someone to come in and just tell me to that. Well, I called the company back and toll them that nothing was done, that the water softener is still not working and Veronica the one that answered the phone all it can give was excuses. "Oh! yes the tech was right, we don't know that brand, we only work with Northstar". Ok, then why didn't you ask before sending a tech here what brand I had? The point is, I will never use their service nor I will refer them to any one. I please, please the coupon is a rip off. They tell you if a tech comes in for 1 min and does nothing they will still charge you for it the $90.

Plumber arrived promptly on schedule and performed a number of leak tests. Determined that water was leaking through the shower stall and through the bathroom floor. Opened up the downstairs ceiling and determined that there was no rot or significant water damage. Plumber was courteous, professional, and tidied up after completing his work.

We had to have them return on 9/16/14 since the guest toilet still did not flush completely. We were told some toilets do not flush efficiently, ergo one of the gentlemen on 9/16 (second visit) increased the water level. During this seemingly simple and non-productive procedure of raising the water level, he continuously and persistently tried to sell me on approximately $3000.00 worth of new toilet hardware for all three baths in our home. Not a great experience to say the least.

They are so nice and I got their name from my neighbor. They were here on time and they were upfront with how much it cost. They are really professional and they gave me estimates on other things. I will have them back to replace my toilets. The cleanup was perfect and they hauled away my old water heater as well. They also didn’t scratch any of my floors and they were very trustworthy.

We had them install 3 new toilets in our home. We are having them come back out to install one other toilet. They have been great so far! The only issue I had was that they only wanted to work with Kohler products. Since my home was built 1957, I was trying to keep the original blue color toilet. I could not find a blue Kohler toilet, but they just explained that they cannot warrant the work done with other products they did not sell.

Provided called in advance of arrival and was prompt. Very nice gentleman was professional and courteous. Found issue to be a clog due to hard water deposits and not a part replacement. I did have the parts available per a call to Delta ahead of time (faucet under warranty/no charge incurred) but as it turned out they were not needed. The serviceman then gave me a lesson on how to resolve issue in future as needed on my own. Much appreciated! Second time I have used the provider, and will continue to do so. I did use a pre-purchased coupon for services rendered from Angie's List.

Two men showed up and found there was no cleanout. Had to remove toilet in bsmt to access drain. They worked hard and got the roots removed. Made some suggestions on how to prevent same from happening in future. Put toilet back together and everything works great.

Matt is a wonderful craftsman. He shows up on time and is exacting in getting the job done well and efficiently. I'm very happy with his work and his customer service. Our laundry room looks one hundred percent better.

Showed up earlier than scheduled. The worker did excellent work in a timely manner and cleaned up behind himself when the job was completed!

The plumber worked for about an hour attempting to open a blocked drain. He made several attempts, using different tips on the end of the snake. But he was unable to unblock the drain and he STILL charged me over $200

We communicated via phone and had a date scheduled, but I had to cancel. We haven’t re-scheduled. They understood and were very kind to my situation. They were very nice and told me to call them back when I’m ready. I was glad they weren't upset that I had to cancel.

Excellent service. Even though what we hoped would be a repair turned into a replacement, the plumber was efficient, friendly, and quick. We would use Tarvin plumbing again. We choose Tarvin because they offered a special deal and it was worth it!

The cost for the work was more than I had expected and the job seemed to take longer that necessary to unclog a toilet with a snake. There was no mess left behind. There were no issues with the work and the job itself turned out fine.

I selected the option of $60 for $90 worth of service on the angies list site, and called Tarvin plumbing to arrange an appointment. They told me I could either schedule an appointment several days later or choose to be "on call", and have the work done on a fill in basis. (As it turned out, it took about a week for this to happen.) The service appointment went great, their representative told me at first the installation could cost as much as $210 if much replumbing was needed, but he was done in less than 45 minutes, so the cost reverted to $90 ($60 because I used the coupon)

I have used the company for a few years. Their services have gone very well. One technician came out for the toilet and competed the job in about 45 minutes. I liked that he only fixed what needed fixed and did not try to see me any other services. They have very skilled plumbers and are very prompt. They are also very efficient workers and responsive. I have never had a problem scheduling a service and they can even work you in the same day.

Tarvin came out twice to fix a blockage in the sewage line in my basement. The first time the plumber indicated they had cleared out the blockage and thought they had fixed the problem, yet the problem occured again one week later. A different plumber from Tarvin then came to my house and after trying to clear the blockage told me that I had some type of defect in the pipe, etc. and that they couldn't clear it out properly and I would need to have someone (from a different company) come out and run a camera though the line. The "Underground Detective" (the real name of the company) found I had a back water valve that had broken off the hinge and was wedged in the pipe. I had another plumber (from a different company) come out and remove the valve and replace the cap where they accessed the pipe for $100. I think that the first plumber from Tarvin should have tested the line by flushing down some toilet paper before he left. If he had, he would have realized the "repair" wouldn't last. I also think he likely should have realized there was some blockage or deformity in the pipe and have routed me to the "Undercover Detective" and saved me a second visit. I had Tarvin look at a leaky faucet the first time they came out and they replaced the cartridges. The drip continued and I asked them about it when they returned the second time. That plumber checked and said I had high pressue that might be causing the leak and that I would need to replace the water regulator coming into the house at a cost of $400-450. I elected not to have them do that. The plumber (from a different company) who removed the back water valve was able to adjust the regulator and put my water pressure at a resonable level. The leak then stopped. Net, I feel that my second visit from Tarvin should have been unnecessary (it cost $320) and that the faucet repair ($60) was unnecessary as well. I also was not impressed that they wanted to do an unnecessary regulator repair. My perspective is that it cost me an extra $400 total (and considerable hassle) by calling Tarvin versus the other company first. I selected them based on Angie's List reviews (which are good). Hopefully my experience was a fluke!

They do have the option to request them for an emergency; otherwise they can put you on schedule, or send out a plumber when he is available. I think their prices are reasonable as well. They also offer Angie’s List discounts.

It went very well. There weren’t really hang-ups with using them. I told them I had coupon and they said fine. There were no issue with it. The transaction was easy on the computer. They were on time and they were honest. I’m having a bathroom remodelling in my house and they took measurements but they never got back to me with the bid so I therefore did not use them to do that project.

My wife dropped a special charm down the sink drain and I could not get it out. I called them and they were out the following day. The service was great and the employees were very nice.
