Great work - Sustainergy came out and gave me a bunch of different options for services around my attic, insulation, ventilation and encapsulation. They were all super knowledgable and even pointed me in a couple of different directions for other house projects. It didn't take long to approve a quote, get on the schedule and get everything done. Would definitely use their services again.

Pleasant interview when evaluating the converted Cape Cod attic bedrooms. Was able to move up the installation date. Arrived on time and finished in one day. Cleaned up well after job. Could not insulate the end ("gable") walls due to the fact that the drywall was found to be only 1/2" from the cinderblock wall during insulation installation. Received $100 discount at the time of service.

Used Sustainergy to install 31 solar panels to my back roof in December of 2019. I was able to monitor the entire installation and felt confident in the professional manner the job was done. Because the 30% tax credit was expiring on December 31st, Sustainergy had to work in extremely cold conditions to complete the task on time and succeeded. We contracted Sustainergy to do a full assessment of our newly-purchased home. Our energy bills were far too high and the house had cold, drafty spots. Lewis performed a full assessment and recommended 5-6 improvements, ranging from blown insulation in the attic to foam insulation under our floorboards. Additionally, he recommended things that were out of scope for his team (e.g. HVAC repair) that would further improve our energy efficiency. Overall, it was really refreshing for a contractor to focus on the end result (a well-insulated, comfortable home) instead of just focusing on things they could personally charge us for. His team arrived quickly, were super friendly, and did very high quality professional work. As a result, our energy bills went down by more than 50% month-over-month. I'd recommend this business to just about anyone who wants to lower their energy bills and live in a more comfortable home.

Sustainergy Cooperative added insulation and sealed some air leaks in the attic and basement of my 1951 ranch home on Cincinnati's west side. The company is worker-owned, and it shows. They dealt with me fairly and honestly, and they were all nice guys. They gave me a written estimate and followed up appropriately but did not pressure me. Scheduling the work was easy. They confirmed right away by email and sent a reminder the day before. The guys who did the work were respectful and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and took time to answer my questions. They helpfully pointed out a leak in the roof that I didn't know about. Highly recommend.

As part of an overall process to improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, we had Sustainergy perform an energy audit on our home. All went better than expected, until the inspection uncovered a significant mold problem in our attic. This was independently verified by a trusted home inspector. After obtaining several quotes for remediation and for air-sealing/insulation, we selected Sustainergy to do both. Their price was in line with other quotes, and I already had an appreciation for their work. The schedule was complicated by additional HVAC work being done at the time, part of which was in the same attic. Sustainergy arrived each day as planned and worked very nicely to dovetail with the other work. Remediation was careful and thorough, air-sealing was good, and final insulation was amazingly fast and buried all HVAC ducts as requested. An attic isn't something I would normally describe as "beautiful", but in this case that is exactly how I felt about the end product. Throughout the process, the entire crew were courteous and professional. Flequer and Lindsey answered numerous questions and went out of their way to ensure we were all on the same page and that our needs were being met. In fact, I can honestly say I have never worked with a contractor as responsive and customer-focused as Sustainergy, special credit to Flequer. That kind of customer support is rare and something I truly value. If I had a further need, I would definitely contact Sustainergy again.

The consultation was great. Things were explained in a manner I could understand and there was ZERO hard sell. It was matter of fact of this is what we can do and why we would want to do it. The prices were separated out so I could pick and choose what I wanted to do or if necessary do it over time. The insulation work was completed in a day and they did their best to clean up. If I am looking for faults, they left a couple things behind. But responded quickly when told so. I would highly recommend this company.

Not prompt at returning phone calls. Rescheduled after technician didn't arrive; I had to call 30 min after scheduled appointment time. After audit was done, still haven't received estimate for work 10 days later.

They only did what was necessary. Other companies I spoke with wanted to spray the whole attic. They were very professional, fair, and decent guys. I paid about a $1 per square foot.

Excellent. Very professional crew completed the work. Used technology to only focus on the areas which needed additional insulation. Also secured a $250 rebate from utilities company.

The job went very well. Homeowner should pay close attention to blower door test performed before and after job is completed. It will let one know how much of a difference sealing and adding insulation to the attic, did make.

Terrible the first go around,very dirty and not good work and then they came back and did a better job.
