Smooth Moves Piano Movers

My daughter asked me to help her get estimates and set up getting a piano moved to her new house. Smooth Moves was, hands down, the best option of the 5 estimates I received. Their rates were reasonable. I had 1 online estimate for almost $500, and a verbal phone estimate for about $400. The owner was very professional and friendly. His experience was evident. The original owner of the piane reported to me that they were in/out of her condo in record time and raved about what a great job they did. On the way to deliver, they were running behind and kept in contact to let me know when they would be there. They were very timely! The entryway into my daughter's new home is very tight and awkward yet they were able to navigate it cleanly without any glitches. I highly recommend this company for ANY moving needs, not just pianos!

Excellent. They were in and out unbelievably fast. Very friendly, professional guys who have obviously move a piano or two before! Loaded it up and had it out the door in just a couple of minutes. Would definitely hire again.

They were on time (in fact they called ahead to ask if they could come early!) and were very professional. It took them only a few minutes to pick up the piano and move it to their truck. Then they moved a large antique china cabinet to the spot previously occupied by the piano and did not charge us for this extra work. At my son's house the move also went flawlessly. My daughter-in-law said they were very courteous and professional and even were extra quiet since our two grandsons were already napping. We would definitely recommend Smooth Moves Piano Movers for any piano moving.

Very professional, polite and courteous. They were amazing to watch. I would never have expected two men who could lift the piano with such ease. Amazingly, I called last minute and they worked me in at the end of the day. Thank you so much for making sure our schedule was met!

They were great! I was nervous about placing my piano in a storage unit. it  I wanted my piano moved separately from other furniture. They answered my questions and put my mind at ease.  Joe, one of the owners, and another man did the work. They showed up on time. Piano was carefully loaded into the truck and unloaded with ease. They were very nice and friendly. I'd highly recommend.

He We bought a piano on Craig's List on a Sunday.  The gentleman selling it was anxious to get it moved as he was leaving the country at the end of the week on a mission trip. Smooth Moves assured me he could get it moved by Friday.  The move was coordinated on both ends and proceeded smoothly.

It was brilliant.  The piano is a beast - very heavy.  The guys had to maneuver the piano down a few steps on the way out and up several steps (some tight) on the way in.  I was amazed - they didn't seem to break a sweat.  Very evident that they knew what they were doing.

I originally called to get a quote for moving a piano I was going to look at on Craigslist. I did not like the piano, so I never called them back, but a week later they called me to follow up. I explained that I did not like the piano and that I am looking for a functional, inexpensive, yet attractive piano to expose my son to. They said they had a few and I could come and take a look. There were a few options, all were explained to me and I liked one that although likely was not the best sounding of the three, it was to me the most attractive and that was equally important to me. They tuned it and delivered it 3 days later. It looks gorgeous! And sounds pretty good too! It would have cost nearly as much to have a free piano off of Craigslist moved and tuned. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them! They are very nice also.

The piano had to be lifted up a step.

We would never have known to remove the pedals in order to keep them from being broken.

They were great. They really did a good job. Our experience was very good. They were clean. They were quick. They were on time. They did everything they claimed that they would do. Their professionalism and communication was excellent.

The crew was very friendly, professional and quick working.  They know what they are doing.  I appreciated them taking a dining room table too although they do not usually do this.  The only improvement I suggest is that they give you a block of time to hold on moving day (rather than hold the whole day) when you make the reservation.  It was difficult to hold the hold the entire day and only learn of the exact hour the day before.  However, this is minor compared with the peace of mind of these pros handling the piano and reasonable  cost.

I had to convince my wife that these guys would do as good a job as the company she had used before, and they absolutely exceeded both of our expectations (at a price $300 less than the quote from the other company). They were extremely professional and polite, worked fast, and most importantly, delivered our prized possession safely to our new home.

Very accommodating in supporting our need to have the piano moved on Christmas  Eve.  Movers compently and quickly transported the piano with ease. Also good equipment. Professional and friendly.

The crew was amazing.  Joe helped with all the move details including working with the church on the delivery details.  They were timely and efficient, taking great care with the piano. During the move it began to rain.  They prepped the piano and waited until the rain stopped before moving it to the truck.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  They treated this piano like it was their own.  It arrived safely at it's new location.
