Sentry

Doug was great. We have an old house with non-standard doors and some that previous owners had "fixed" to meet standards. Doug and the guys at Sentry were able to fit us with a new front door and screen door without having to tear out the whole entry way and it looks great. We love getting a breeze through the screen door and when it gets hot out we are looking forward to a door that keeps the AC in.

We had received a price quote in May 2009 and had saved up the cash by the Fall. They were in and out in one day's time. They removed the old windows, installed the new windows, and hauled away any mess (Old windows, boxes, etc)
The Installer was very conscientious and did a very good job!
It has been 7 years and these windows are still holding up well.
My wife and I are planning on using Sentry again for a garage door, front door, and patio door replacement!!!

They have always done a very professional job.

I love these guys.  My dad has been using them for windows and doors for years, and we haven't had one bad experience.  They also were the ones that previously installed the double-pane windows that are on my house now.  Anyway, to start with you will probably be talking with Doug, who owns the business.  This guy could not possibly be more cordial, friendly and trustworthy (Plus he's an OU alum).  He's the kind of guy that will only recommend to do things that need to be done.  I have relatively new door hardware and he recommended re-using it and I agreed.
It was a very streamlined process, Doug came over to my house, we picked out the door and all the details in the catalog, he ordered the door (custom size for an old house) and it was installed 2 weeks later.  The guy who installed it was very friendly but mostly kept to his work and finished everything in about 3 hours.  Then about a week later Doug called me to get feedback on how I liked my door.  I really couldn't be happier with how the whole process went.

Mark did an excellent job.  I had another situation, and he was even able to take care of that for me.

Follow-up to do the install could have been better; they had a bigger job ahead of me but I did not know that



Dwayne and his crew came to do the install.  They were running behind on day of install but Dwayne did call to let me know they would be later than planned



The install team worked well together, however, they could have been a bit more professional in appearance; there was no identification on their vehicles or clothes that they were the install team for Sentry.  They also had someone with them they seemed to be training; I was concerned about quality of work and/or voiding of the warranty with using someone they were training



They arrived around 11 am and job was done around 7:15 pm.  By that time, it was too late for me to closely inspect the work



The lock on the outside door did not line up properly.  I contacted Doug and he scheduled a time to come inspect the windows and fix the door.  Doug cleaned all the windows of excess caulking and fingerprints and fixed the lock on the door.  He accommodated my schedule and did this on a Saturday afternoon

Very good overall.  Prouct was installed in the time frame specified and they look good.  Installer forgot to get building permit but corrected his error immediately when alerted of the problem.

His crew installed 2 customized sliding glass patio doors. They turned out beautifully. They came back and did some fine tuning to make sure the doors were perfect. They were very professional and provided great service. I would highly recommend them.

Salesman Ron arrived on schedule, and contract was completed in less than one hour.
Doors were delivered within 3 weeks, and installer completed the work in about a week.

On July 15 we met with Ron, the sales man.  He actually listened to what we wanted and met our budget (which four other door companies did not do).  We picked out our doors, paid a deposit and the doors were ordered.

The doors came in and were installed on Aug 12.  Mark, the installer, arrived a little after 9 a.m. and was courteous, professional and went above and beyond to ensure our doors were installed flush, level and as perfect as he could make them considering the front door is not perfectly square.  Mark worked for over 9 hours straight removing and installing the doors.  He cleaned up after himself, ensured we were happy, and answered questions.  We ran into a few installation issues -- needed trim, the wrong length header and footer were sent for one door and the wrong deadbolt.  Ron brought the correct header, footer and dead bolt to the house so that Mark would not have to come back on Saturday.  My husband went and got the trim so that it could be done today.  This shows what a quality company Sentry is when the sales person brings the necessary pieces to keep the home owners happy.

It turned out great. They were fine. I had no concerns with them. They came out and gave me a quote. They were on time and they were professional. This was the first time I've used them.

From the initial phone call requesting info on their products,  thru the measuring & ordering stage, thru the installation performance, this company could not be a more welcomed vendor to us.  From start to finish they deserve an A-plus rating .  I can not think of one thing they could have improved on.

The order was placed, and I changed my mind on the finish that I wanted on the door knobs. I originally asked for stainless steel, but 2 days before the install, I called them to see if I could do oiled bronze instead. They had no problem with that and were very pleasant. The installer, Mark, was the best craftsman I have ever met! I am extremely pleased with the results. I got a follow up visit from one of the owners to make sure that I was happy with everything. I go out of my way to recommend them to other people!

They responded to our request for quote within a few days. One of the owners came out to talk to us and invited us to their showroom on Reading Road to better understand their products. We did visit the showroom and picked out what we wanted. The entire process was low pressure and professional. The doors had to be special ordered and took about three weeks to come in. They promptly came out and installed all three doors in one day. Installation quality was very good. Overall a good experience. Price was maybe a little high but the quality of the hardware and the installation was worth it.

Initially I thought highly about their quality. However I have changed my mind on that high quality because almost all those little metal things that hold the windows in the storm doors have broken off. I had to go to the hardware store and replace most of those. Also there was a very sharp corner in the other window which they hadn’t done properly and I kept scratching my hand on it. I got a metal file and fixed it myself. The hinges on the front door seemed to have changed color. They were very prompt and came the same afternoon that I called. They couldn’t install the things when I wanted because they had to order things as a lot of these things were custom made. I guess I would use them again.

He was referred to us by a friend of mine. I had tried calling other service providers but none of them wanted to come over and do the job, as it was only a repair work. The owner came in and supervised the work. The person who did the job was excellent. He also did the flashing, cocking, and other minor work. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He ended up doing more work than he had estimated, but stuck to his original price, which I thought was exceptional.

Fine, were able to handle situation with odd arrangement of door and frame, and use our existing locks.

They came to my house the same day I called, 9/29/06, because I said I wanted this work done as soon as possible as we were leaving on vacation on 10/15/06. We all thought maybe the work could get done before we left; however, the products we ordered could not be obtained from the manufacturers that fast, which was perfectly OK with us. So we let them know when we got home and they came right out on 10/25/06, with all the things we ordered, plus everything they needed to install all these doors and bars. They got the front and back doors all done on the first day, then came back the next day and did the door going into the garage and the basement window bars. The workmen were very clean, professional, personable, and efficient. The work they did is absolutely perfect and beautiful; wish I could include before and after pictures. They cleaned up perfectly, cleaned all the glass in the doors, cleaned off all fingerprints, and even hauled away the old doors. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL JOB!

WE LOOKED AROUND FOR A SCREEN DOOR THAT FIT ON OUR PATIO DOOR. EVERYONE SAID THEY DID NOT MAKE A DOOR THAT WOULD FIT. DOUG CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE, MEASURED AND ASSURED ME THE DOOR I WANTED WOULD FIT. HE WAS RIGHT AND THE DOOR IS JUST WHAT WE WANTED.

IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH SOMETHING, DOUG MAKES SURE IT GETS CORRECTED AND DONE RIGHT. HE'S A VERY PERSONABLE GUY, AND WORKS VERY HARD TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER IS HAPPY WITH THE WORK.

THEY WERE VERY CLEAN AND NICE. DID A GOOD JOB BUT THEY DID TELL ME A JOKE THAT WAS VERY INAPPROPRIATE.
