Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing Heating Air

The technician, Nick, has worked on our equipment in the past. He performed our furnace tuneup as well in the fall. On both occasions he was thorough. He replaced a Shrader valve on one of our AC units that 2-3 people have attempted in the past without success. He had the proper equipment and completed this task without problem therefore minimizing the chance for a refrigerant leak. I have had occasion to use several different companies in the past for service on our HVAC equipment and have not always felt like the time taken was sufficient to complete the entire tuneup. I must say that I have been very pleased with the service provided by Schneller on the 2 occasions they have serviced my heating/cooling equipment and will continue to use them in the future.

When I had a problem with another company, I called Schneller, who I found on Angie's list. They scheduled an appointment that morning and even arrived early! The technician found the problem right away and even showed me the part that failed and what was wrong with it. He had the house cooling off within a half hour because he had the necessary part in his service van. About two weeks later,I got a call from Schneller making sure that I was satisfied with the service and that everything was still running well. I really appreciated the follow-up call. I will be sure to continue to do business with them and I highly recommend them.

Air conditioner repairs were discussed, aligned, and made. I don't know if the price paid represents best value or not, but we needed the repair to be completed and, unfortunately, we were not in a position to get competitive quotes.

The technician was excellent and explained well everything to us. The company, family owned and operated, sent their sales person to meet with us and help us decide what unit would be right for us. We set a date for installation and everything went well. We were very happy with the company and set up a service contract for our heating and cooling. We definitely will continue to use them in the future.

John Knochelmann was my Sales Consultant and did a great job explaining things to me. I took 5 bids and Schneller Air won out based on the price, brand and the efficiency ratings, although they weren't the lowest bid. The installers did a great job and were prompt and courteous. There was some confusion, as there can be with this big of a job, but everyone I talked to at the company was helpful and they resolved the situation in a very good way. There were follow up calls made by the company to be sure everything was to my liking. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Went well. Gentleman was very professional and pleasant. Came to do his work , explained all services they offered but were not pushy.

Did a great job, services performed as advertised and thoroughly cleaned the A/C heat pump fins as well. Detected that the capacitor was running below par and replaced it (additional $99 for parts & labor). Very professional and courteous. Will use again.

The technician was on time and was very professional. He seemed to be knowledgeable. I was relieved to find that he didn't use high pressure tactics to sell extra services. My sister also used Schneller and had a great experience with them as well. They found a solution to a problem they had been having with their HV/AC system for many years. Her experience sold me on the company.

The service technician (Rick) showed up on time for the appointment and immediately explained what he would be doing. He started with what normally would be a quick check of the furnace. After about 35 minutes, he asked me to join him in the basement and showed me that the top of the heat exchanger was badly rusted, and button rivets were also rusted with hairline cracks visible. He then inspected the A/C unit and found that the pressures were low and the system was low on R-22 refrigerant. When the inspection was completed, his recommendation was to get estimates on Furnace and A/C replacement due to the age and condition of the system. He never pushed us to purchase from Schneller, but encouraged us to get several estimates and make a decision that satisfied our needs. Rick was very thorough and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Schneller Heating & Air and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Schneller Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing came out and did a spring clean up. They had repaired some duct work. We had concerns about our 2 story home. We would have to crank up the AC to get it cool upstairs and then you would freeze downstairs. We thought we might need 2 seperate units. The gentleman said we would not need 2 units and was going to look into other options for us. We still have not heard anything back from them and would really like to have this taken care of. The gentleman was a very nice and understood our concerns.

It went well. The person came in to check out and spent about 2 hours. He checked out our system and suggested that everything looked good. They would come back beginning of the fall to also check heating system.

It was great. Kevin spent more than an hour checking it out and tuning it up. He recommended future maintenance such as filter replacement and duct cleaning but otherwise gave me a clean bill of health.

The technician did a good job servicing the unit. He took his time checking things over. Did recommend one additional repair to an electrical portion of the condenser that is showing signs of wear. Overall the cleaning was very thorough. I would use them again.

air concitioning is working fine...found some other problems with the furnace and recomended replaceing system..salesman came to our house and gave us an estimate.. we don't need to make our decision on furnace replacement untill fall.. we still need to get more bids.....salesman gave very good presentation and explained all options and prices

I purchased the $59 tune up sepcial through angies list. The tune up seemed to go fine. The tech recommended two upgrades to a 15 year old AC unit that he admitted may not be worth due to the age. Seemed to eager to sell other services. I checked online and there were mixed reviews for the kits he was recommending. Also, wait until the weather warms up. It was chilly the week I scheduled the tune up. I didn't know that decreased the ability to test how well it is cooling. It is makes sense now, but they were perfectly happy to schedule it despite the cold weather. They did fine , but I use someone else now. They didn't recommend the same upgrades this year as Schneller.

Sized my system 1/2 ton smaller than anyone else I had out and 1/2 ton smaller than my existing system. Sizing was based on the estimators "gut feel" rather than a detailed Manual J calculation. Tried to sell me on a flimsy looking see-through fiberglass filter with a $70 element. Did not trust their technical ability, so I decided against going with them.

The technicians arrived on time, had covers on their shoes so as not to track dirt in our house. They were corteous and efficient. They made good recommendations but no "hard sell." We like the employees and owners at this company and would definitely use them again.

I got them from Angie's List. I ended up buying a warranty form where they come out and check your furnace in the fall and spring. I really like them. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. Their price is kind of high. They're going to be my permanent heating and cooling.

Fantastic! Very very impressed. As a new homeowner of an older house, the employee helped me to understand mechanics, what to look for, how to drain my radiators for better efficiency, and an idea of when I should have the next tune up.

We bought a deal through Angie's List for a new gas furnace. They were punctual and did a fantastic job during both the consultation and the installation. You would never even know they had been there except for the wonderful shiny new furnace in the basement. We have had the furnace for a year, it works fantastic, and I would HIGHLY recommend Schneller. During the consultation, we inquired about a whole house air cleaner. He explained the options and also explained that since we were going to be selling the home soon the air cleaner would not be of that much selling benefit. They could have made several hundred additional dollars from us, but instead they told us the truth. We will most definitely use them again.

The techs were prompt and professional. They explained the work they did, and the issues that they found. They recommended replacing the blower capacitor, and the condenser's switch - neither had failed, but the tech stated that the parts were nearing the end of their service life. He did not press them as urgent issues, but he did sell the need. I believe I was treated fairly.

I purchased the big deal thru Angie's List Jan 2013 & had the service performed sometime in Feb. The service technician was very thorough & left my home as clean as it was before he arrived. The appointment took 1.5hrs which I'm told is amazing considering some of the competition only take about 30min for a furnace cleaning. The only complaint I have is that when I made the appointment I was told it was for 9am. I also was told 9am by the gentleman who called the business day before as a courtesy reminder. The day of my appointment, when it got to be 9:15 I called Schneller & informed them that the service technician was not at my home. It was then that I was told my appointment was not at 9am & that I never would have been told an exact time but rather an appointment window. He ended up getting to my home at 9:30, but unfortunately for me I was late for work. I would definitely recommend them & hire them again, but I highly suggest being extremely clear about your appointment time.
