jason zimmer is a very good hvac tech and alot of fun to talk to. we chatted while he told me the shortcomings and the good things about my heating and cooling systems would not hesitate to call schneller again it was great to talk to someone who knew that much, and was willing to be honest about things

The entire experience was excellent, no complaints. Alex is extremely personable and did not mind at all me asking questions or observing. In fact, he encouraged it. Once he was finished and wrapped up everything I didn't feel at all anything was missed or I was short changed. Need more tecs like him in the industry.

It was warranty work. If they give me a window, they are there. They told me that they would call me when they got done with the job that they were on, but they don't do it. They do great work.

My only complaint is they didn't clean up the mess they made. The spigot pipes were right over my washer and dryer. As the cracked one was removed a lot of grit dropped on the washer and dryer and they left it for me to clean up. All the work was done very well and they were all business. Because of the deal I bought I felt ithe charge was reasonable. However without the deal I would have been very surprised at how much it cost. To be honest I hadn't used a plumber in years and am out of touch with current rates. I would use them again.

It went well as far as I could tell. He told me it was old and I would need to replace it soon since it's 15 years old and has some signs of wear.

He discovered a nut was loose on the main shut-off valve and he tighten it up. Then checked the knob in the main bath and tighten it up. No labor was charged. There was a $89 service charge in which the $99 dollar for $200 worth of plumbing work was used. I did not receive a $10 credit or use $200 in plumbing services. I was happy to find I did not have to repair or switch out the main shut-off valve.. The plumber did suggest if I wanted to save the $200, since no actual work was performed, I could pay the service fee of $89 and use the $200 on a future call/repair. I opt to use the $99 I paid but we had to get his manager to approve.

I have used Schneller for a number of years now for my 2009 furnace and heat pump, and I always have been impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of their technicians. But I ended up being disappointed this time and here is why: The tech brought to my attention that the 10.0 capacitor had dropped to 8.9, and he showed me the number on his little tester. That didn't sound too alarming to me, but he said that once they start dropping that could go really fast, and I could end up with a costly repair. He said it could be replaced for $199. The capacitor is such a small simple looking thing, I was amazed at the price tag. It seemed a high price, but I try to keep on top of things as far as maintenance goes, so I agreed to replace the one I had. Note: the location in the furnace was easy access and installation took about one minute. Now, the tech wanted me to know that he was not pressuring me to purchase this; I even agreed with him. But he had done his part when he planted the seed of fear...the fear of what could go wrong in the worst case scenario. After all was said and done, I went online just to find out more about these capacitors. I was again amazed to see that the type in my furnace could probably be purchased for around $10.00 or less. This made me feel that I was truly taken advantage of by the company. The honorable thing for them to have done in this situation would have been to inform me that this product is something I could buy myself, and have on hand to replace a little down the road when the level dropped more. Considering the 8.9 reading, I am pretty confident that immediate replacement was not critical; I think the tech probably should have advised me accordingly. Online I also learned that other people had had (with OTHER companies) a similar experience of being overcharged for this item. So the whole industry apparently does this. It's hard--you appreciate reliable, courteous, knowledgeable technicians to help keep things in good working order, yet you have to be on guard that they don't prey on your ignorance and fears. Again, no one twisted my arm; I could have chosen not to expend the $199 at this time. To others: Just be aware when dealing with any of these companies, and do due-diligence research when it is sensible to do so before spending unnecessarily. Watch out for when they play to your fears and ignorance. I believe that techs are probably trained and incented to sell products. Does this mean I will not use Schneller again? Above I said that I would not, but really the answer is maybe. I may still use them...but I will probably also check out other offers/companies, and not be so loyal as I have been.

It went very well. The plumbers were very courteous and explained things in detail about things I did not know before or understand. He also pointed out water damage. I also had bought a deal, so that did help with the cost.

The amount of time it took for the work was twice as much as was promised. Initially, the installers seemed to b somewhat careful about keeping the plastic cover on their fee. But later, they were walking all over with their work shoes on, which didn't seem clean. They decided that putting the covers on was no longer necessary. But the think that angered me the most had to do with the man who came first to give us the estimate. He was supposed to come and give us an estimate on another work. In spite of my repeated calls, he just ignored to call back. When I thin called back the office, I was informed that the company does not even do such work. I wasted too much time in the process.

They arrived on time, they performed the work professionally, and the cost was fair.

After consulting Angie's list, we contacted Schneller. Our air conditioner had stopped functioning over night and the temperature in the house was climbing. It was Saturday morning around 10:00 when we called. It was comforting that a human answered and, after confirming the urgency, assured us that someone would be in touch. Jeremy returned the call and assured that he had someone available and we would hear from them between 12-2. The weather was very hot and we were pleased that Schneller could get someone out. We followed up around 2:45 after not hearing from them. Jeremy apologized. Their technician had been delayed on previous job, in KY, but would be out soon. Tyler called after completing his previous job and apologized for the delay. Thanked us for our patience. Arrived at 4:00. Tyler was very courteous and business-like in his approach to diagnosing the problem. He asked about the symptoms and then inspected the electronics on the outside unit. After taking some voltage and continuity checks, he found a bad capacitor, provided the pricing for the replacement and confirmed our desire to do the repair. After replacing the capacitor he tested the run and start amps confirming there were no problems with the compressor unit. He observed a trouble light was still on (from original problem) and after consulting our manual determined how to clear it. He was very diligent and seemed to be well trained in the technology. They did the billing using an iPad and provided the bill to us by email, immediately. Done by 4:45. I thought he did a great job and I would call Schneller again, if I were in a pinch. Relative to pricing: I must say that I was somewhat surprised (as I usually am) by the cost of the run capacitor. Other than the basic diagnostic fee ($129) the bill does not break out any labor, so I interpreted the capacitor line item ($262) to be the cost of the part only. Doing some research on Amazon indicates that the capacitors are on the order of $20. I could understand $100 for inventory carrying, overhead, weekend overtime and making a reasonable profit. Either the billing needs to be more clear or the part cost is exorbitant.

Fantastic! Kevin was our HVAC tech, and he was wonderful. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing to me and the various possibilities of what could be wrong with our HVAC.

They didn’t fix the problem. He told me that he have to renew and replace the pipes and the charge will be in the thousands. So I told him I will look around for other opinions. All he did was the clogged kitchen sink that I had and he put the snake their once or twice and then came back and said he could not unclogged but he could change the pipes. I told him that if I have the money for replacing the pipes then I will call him. So the $99 covered what he did, no extra charge.

The repairman showed up and did a great job with the bathroom sink. I had also asked him about repairing our loose kitchen faucet. It had been installed six months earlier by another provider and had come loose. The technician was trying to tighten it and accidentally broke the faucet's water line in the process. He apologized profusely and Schneller's did replace the faucet entirely with the exact same model at no extra cost (next day). Come to find out, the original install wasn't done properly (by another company) and that's part of why it broke in the first place. Really appreciated Schneller and this technician for doing the right thing and replacing the faucet. They even gave me a discount on the other work for my trouble despite the extra cost and their effort. Great company!

Everything went really well. The workers were friendly, professional and efficient. We are happy with the work they did and appreciate their excellent customer service!

The services worked out real well. They were fine to work with. The guy that came was very professional and he explained what was going on and that I might have the same problem again, which did happen this year. I paid $55.00 for the coupon and then I spent an additional amount for the Freon. They came a couple of days after the date that I purchased the coupon. I liked their responsiveness, I liked that they came out and gave me options, they were very professional as well. The only item that I did not like was the price.

Zak Kelsay came in a timely manner. He unstopped the main sewer clean out in the basement, behind the washer and dryer. He pulled back roots and showed them to me when he explained the problem. He indicated that we would need to have a camera run for a complete view of the line.

Alex Benner responded to a call that our new air conditioner was not cooling the house. He diagnosed a problem with a valve. He explained that he was going to clean out the valve and use an additive to make it work correctly.

Rick Hubbard came out promptly and listened to the air conditioner. I honestly don't remember what he did but he did it in a timely manner and whatever he did, it worked.

Tim Owens and his crew removed the old units and took them off our property. They installed a new water heater, a Trane XR95 furnace and a Trane XR14 air conditioner. The obtained the proper permits and did a complete and efficient clean up. They did absolutely everything that needed to be done, including reinstalling our old whole house humidifier and replacing the filter. These guys were very friendly, fast, and efficient. I am more than satisfied with the work they did.

I received a call on Monday telling me that my replacement air conditioner would be replaced on Tuesday (6/9) in the afternoon (they gave me an estimated arrival time). I received a call saying that they could come earlier and would be here first thing Tuesday morning. They did arrive early and removed the old unit. They replaced the condenser and a coil, to which they injected an additive as a preventive measure. They were very friendly, fast and efficient. They were very careful not to leave the gate open while going in and out so I had no worries that our dogs would escape; we have a dog door and they have free access in and out of the house. I had complete confidence in them. As of today, July 4, my air conditioner is working fine.

We had no heat, called Schneller; Kevin Bowen came out, diagnosed the igniter as being defective. He was polite, personal and proficient. I would welcome him in my home to do repairs in a heartbeat.
