Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing Heating Air

As a result of a special offered on Angies List for furnace tune-up I contacted Schneller Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. Alex B (Service/Maintenance Supervisor) arrived on time and immediately went to work checking the furnace, CO levels and all mechanical components. He vacuumed the area beneath the furnace and gave me a running evaluation. The furnace is over 30 years old and has a cracked heat exchanger but CO level was OK, air cleaner is not working and condensation pump non operational. Recommendation was that I should start looking for a new furnace. I am in process of getting bids. Schneller is definitely on the list because John K came out the next day to give their bid. Alex and John are thorough professionals, courteous and very knowledgeable. I would be confident in recommending Schneller to anyone. I don't know yet who will get the job but I appreciated all the information and attention that was afforded to me during this process.

We are happy with the install, the company and the products and services provided.? There was some initial mix up.? Plumber arrived at house but did not bring the replacement hot water heater as scheduled, so he had to leave again to go get it.? Wasn't a big deal since the old tank had to be drained before it could be removed, and this takes about 1.5 hour.? He had to come back the following day to install the water pressure regulator, and there was some mix up with the arrival time.? This is a rental property and this caused my tenants some stress, trying to arrange for someone to be home. I was pleased that the plumber discussed different brands, their quality, and warranties with me.? The water pressure leading into the house was too high, so a new water pressure regulator was recommended and installed.? I received a discount on the price to to a service agreement. This is a wonderful company.? The company and its employees truly care about their customers.? They don't recommend extras you don't need, or sell low quality products.? They are quick to respond when warranty and non-warranty work is needed.

Rick was a professional. I watched him do the inspection and cleaning, and it appeared to be high-tech and thorough. He explained what he was doing and seemed appropriately knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, the technician mistakenly cleaned the air conditioner rather than the furnace, and I had to pay another company to complete the work. Additionally, Schneller stated that it wouldn't clean the furnace for free despite the mistake which was disappointing.

I called Schnellers and they sent a technician that same day. It was a hot day and i'm sure they were busy. I was not formerly a customer, but they still gave me immediate, high quality service. Because of the great service, we signed an AC/Furnace maintenance contract with them. They are scheduled to return to service our furnace in two weeks.

Cody came out to our house and performed a tune-up on a furnace and heat pump. He was prompt and professional.

It was great. I would use them again but I can't wait until December. Quality was excellent.

Too good to be true! Arrived same morning as I called for service. Nick was professional, personable and did an excellent job on the repair. Quite reasonable cost. I will use them again whenever any sort of plumbing concern arises and recommend they to friends and all. Very pleasantly surprised by the entire experience from making the appointment, promptness and cost of the project. Broken shower this morning, hot shower this afternoon. Can't ask for more. I have nothing but great things to say...everything was handled professionally and timely. I was so impressed that I chose to contract with them for twice a year maintenance services for heating and a.c. They did not pressure me to do this; in fact, I initiated the conversation about such an agreement in the future. The technician was polite, informative and experienced.

The amount paid for this flat-rate service includes $90 for a maintenance agreement covering our plumbing system. I see this as an alternative to a trip charge which is often incurred. Everything went smoothly and the installer nicely readily described the various aspects of the faucet - a brand he was unfamiliar with - and its installation. Removal of the old faucet and installation of the new one required 1-1/2 hours.

This was an excellent experience start to finish. Schneller was the only company that did not take my word for the duct sizes and the electrical feeds (it was a little test). Their workmen clearly knew their business and the finished product is outstanding.

He did not complete the deal. He came in and wanted to do a service to over look my problem to add extra costs. For the $59 service charge, he did not check to see if the sink was unplugged. The sink is still clogged up. He was spending too much time to get a service contract. They over charge. The thing he wanted to charge me for I found cheaper from Lowe's and Ebay. They are a scam company.

I contacted Schneller, as I found them on Angie's List. I scheduled an appointment near the end of July. We made an appointment to meet and for him to give me an estimate for furnaces and AC units. (4 unit apt building). Kris came out and we walked thru the property and talked about all this work that needs to be done. He gave me advice and suggestions on things I should get done and rectify issues, as this was a foreclosure property. He spent a long time with me, shook my hand and said he would give me an estimate. In the meantime, I got a lot more work done on the property, roofing, etc, so I was hoping to get the estimate sooner rather than later. I called him about a week later and asked where the estimate was. The office told me that they would send me the estimate but no one ever did send it and no one ever has since. I don't have a lot of time to get things done so I need multiple estimates and Kris held me up and took up my time for nothing. I called him back 4 times. Spoke with secretary, call center, etc, but no one has given me this estimate. Don't waste your time with this company!

Gentleman arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous. Explained what need to be done and other services his company provided. Project was completed in a timely manner, everything works great! I would definitely call the company again and would recommend them to friends and family. Great Customer Service!

While on vacation 500 miles away from Cincinnati one of our rental properties experienced AC cooling failure. I called Schneller to check on the cause. The service man Rick called me long distance to explain that the AC compressor had failed and required replacement. Since the system was old I discussed options for updating the components with Jeremy Lee, and decided to have Schneller replace the complete AC system. We did not have to interrupt our vacation, Schneller took care of everything. They did a fine job and had the new AC system installed in just a few hours. Our tenant was very happy. We chose Schneller because we saw their craftsmanship work on a house we were considering purchasing. They had also previously checked out another AC system problem on a different property for us, and I was impressed with their methodical approach to trouble shooting, something I appreciate as an Engineer. We were very satisfied with Schneller and plan to make them our "go to" contractor for any future AC problems.

The first representative came on time and seemed very professional. He looked at the faucet and then said he needed to go to the basement to see where the water was turned off. He was down in the basement for at least 15 minutes. He went outside again and then I asked to show him the back faucet which was also not working. He looked at it and then came in and got his tools and went out and said he used his drill to get it turned on. After at least 30 minutes, he finally came in and started talking about their Home Maintenance Contract. If I purchased that the price was lower. I had to keep asking about the issue I was interest in, the front faucet. He finally said that to "rebuild" it would cost $93 and replacement would be $204. I told him to rebuild it. I had purchased an Angie's List deal for $99 for 2 hours of plumbing service an . He said he needed to turn off the water and went back outside. I thought he was rebuilding the faucet. My sister arrived shortly after and asked if the plumber was finished. I told her he was outside fixing the faucet. She said nobody was there. After another 30 minutes he arrived back at my house and went over to the faucet and screwed something on top. He came in and again tried to sell me their Maintenance Contract. I declined again. He then remembered it was an Angie's List Deal and said I owed him $89 for the service call. I said OK but I wanted $200 of plumbing services so I would pay him the $89 but wanted the back faucet rebuilt for $93 and then we would have a deal. He seemed very puzzled and finally said we would call it a deal with only the front faucet repaired but no service call fee. I received a follow-up call from a kind elderly gentlemen who told me his job was to call customers and make sure they were happy. I told him the story and told me I needed to call the plumbing services manager. I did call and they agreed to have another tech come out. The second tech was very professional and explained everything to me. I have to say I still do not understand how replacing a tiny plastic valve which did NOT require the water to be turned off equaled $200 of plumbing services. He then looked at the back faucet and replaced the leaky valve in it to get it working properly. I understand wanting to sell additional services but first take care of the job you were hired to do. I would give them another chance should I have a need for plumbing services.

The technician could not have been nicer. He was pleasant, explained the procedure in detail. He was clean and professional. Not only would I use them again if needed, but I have recommended them to my son and several other friends!

Kevin (the on call technician) came out right away. He was very professional and thorough. When we call him during the upcoming week he'll be able to tell us if the unit is still under warranty. We were very pleased by the service and are happy to use them again in the future.

Alex Benner came out to day. What a joy to work with a company where customer service remains strong. Schneller emailed me to let me know they were on the way. Then followed up with a call. Alex called me from the front porch as he was afraid someone in the home may still be asleep. He was extremely professional and courteous. He made sure to wear booties over his boots in the house. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it today. He also did some checking and found a static pressure issue and offered some quick solutions as well as identifying a potential need to do a further investigation if we choose. He was extremely knowledgeable, clean, and professional. I would and will be using Schneller again.

Schneller came out for routine maintenance on the boiler at one of our rental properties. This was for one of their $89 seasonal maintenance packages. The techs that came out were great. The boiler turned out to be over (possibly much over) 50 years old so the first tech called in a second tech that was more familiar with older units. They spent a considerable amount of time on this unit cleaning out years of built up debris. They also located a chimney blockage that we were previously not aware of. Overall, they did a great job, were great to work with, and we got a great value for our money. We also used Schneller for another property that had the central A/C unit go out. I called Schneller on a hot friday afternoon and they had a technician there within 45 minutes. They completed the repair and had the AC up and running quickly and at a very reasonable price. My overall impression is that this company really goes out of their way to provide their customers with excellent experience.
