Schmirmer's has relocated to Mark Sweeney GMC at Ridge and Highland.  There is a shuttle to the new place in case the location is a challenge.  It is the same reliable team from the old shop.

The service was amazing. The workers were wonderful. They were so kind. There was a mix up on the appointment time and they told me that I will have to wait. They looked it up and cleared it up so I didn’t have to wait very long at all. In the meantime, I was trying to find a ride home. The staff came out and asked if wanted a ride home and just let him know. They were just overly kind. They were always just fantastic. It’s a typical garage. It’s nothing fancy but clean. They were very reasonably priced.

They have been around in the area for a long time. They are very honest with their estimates and what work needs to be done. Their mechanics are trustworthy and I never feel like I am being taken for a ride. I would tell a friend that this is one of the places that he/she should get an estimate from. The price I paid last time ($500) was about $150 cheaper than the estimates I got from other shops. I dropped the car off at 7 and it was done by noon. It was very impressive. I would absolutely use them again.

They quickly found the problem and was able to fix it.  They are close and can give me a ride home if I need it.  They are cooperative.  Their prices are reasonable.  They have been there for a long time.

Service was friendly, did not feel sales-y.  The price they quote is the price you get (no surprise charges), and I appreciated that for the specific items I had, they did not charge me extra for just the inspection.  The one thing I wish they had done was call out a few items that might have used an inspection, but that starts to border in the sales-y territory.  They provided a few options for one of the pieces of work I elected not to have done in a way that was easy to understand and they tell you about the tradeoffs (price vs. long term resolution).  All the work was done to satisfaction, will definitely use again.

GREAT!  CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY INFORMING I HEARD SOUND COMING FROM BRAKES.  ASKED FOR AN EARLY MORNING APPOINTMENT ON WEDNESDAY AND RECEIVED IT.  AS A  REGULAR CUSTOMER, I HAD BEEN INFORMED ON AN EARLIER OIL CHANGE SERVICE I WOULD BE NEEDING FRONT BRAKE SERVICE SOON.  THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME WHEN I ARRIVED AND IMMEDIATELY BEGAN WORK ON MY CAR.  THE REPLACEMENT PARTS TOOK CARE OF ELIMINATING THE GRINDING SOUND FROM THE  BRAKES.  AS ALWAYS, I EXPECT EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM SCHIRMER'S  AND HAVE NEVER BEEN  DISAPPOINTED.. WELL PLEASED!

It was quick and cheap

I called Schirmers the day before Thanksgiving thinking I had a radiator leak.  The put it up on the lift and checked it out and did a few hours of diagnostic work.  They were very polite and understanding with my issue.  They couldn't find the leak and even filled all my fluids while checking it out.  I asked what I needed to pay them for the work and they didn't charge me a dime.  Nice to feel that they have your back.  I would definetely use them again and again.

It went very well. I've used them several times over the years and they are excellent.  They do the service work that is needed and nothing more.

I dropped it off on a Friday and it was ready within a week.  It looks great and runs great.  It was also cheaper than another service I've used in the past.  Another plus is that they are right down the street from me so it is convenient too.

Has always gone well and I prefer to use them if possible. After using a quicky oil change service multiple times I try to make sure to take the car to Schirmer's for overall care because I have never had a problem with services they've performed.

I needed a quick turn around on this repair, and Schirmer's was able to accomodate me as well as correctly diagnosing the problem the first time.  The bill could have been less, but I chose to have them use a better quality replacement pump.  The pump is located inside the gas tank, so it is not an easy part to replace.

This shop is the real deal.

Overall, it went pretty well. They were right at the top of the price and the work was good, but they left my car a little dirty. I’d say they were reasonable overall. I would probably use them again.

They are very good. I trust them to do all the necessary work and they do the work well for me. They won't do any unnecessary work for you. They will tell you what they can do. I did recommend them to my daughter and she has been using them. She had a problem with her car and they told her that it was not something they could handle. They recommended that she go somewhere else and they even went through the trouble of finding somebody else. They are honest and above board. I would use them again in the future.

I have used Schirmer;s Garage for many years. This latest experience was as i expected, prompt, professional, competent and customer-oriented. I will use their services in the future.
