The refrigerator refroze up within 3 weeks. Owner would not return calls. Finally caught him and made an appointment which he never showed up. This company has three different names and multiple complaints with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Promised the OAG in writing he would refund the money and to this date has not. I filed a complete report on this issue on the Old Angie's list. I am not quite sure why I had to do it again. In that report I used a copy of the invoice and charge. The owner tried to say that he felt it was a different issue, but since the issue was the same reason I called him out for, and the fact he never came out to fix it, there is no way he could make that argument. My advice is to stay away!!~!!

David knew exactly what to do when he arrived here. Our refrigerator had ice on the floor of the freezer and our freezer drawer was not shutting right. David got right to work and had the refrigerator running smoothly within an hour. He did a really good job. Our only complaint was he was not prompt and we actually were thinking of another repairman because it took him all day to get here. When we called him, he would promptly answer his phone.

David with Right Away fixed our LG refrigerator leak on a Saturday. A week later, the fridge works fine, no leaks on the floor, no ice accumulation in the bottom of the freezer compartment. Would hire again.

My refrigerator stoped cooling so I called a few companies and got no results until I called right away. I spoke to David and he was able to get to me the same day. But not only that, he was able to repair it on the first visit. Very professional and personable. Will definitely hire again if need be, and refer him to friends and family.

UPDATED AS OF 09/21/2020: The response from Right Away in response to my first review is not true. As of 6:30 pm on September 18, 2020, I have not received a penny! No refund has been received. I spoke to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office today. They informed me that this company has not returned phone calls relating to my complaint. Doesn’t it make sense if they could prove that a refund was issued that they would not let the Attorney General know? If and when I receive my refund that they owe me, I will write another review. But every word in my first review is accurate. If anything I was too nice! My issues was that the back wall of my side by side Kenmore Refrigerator/Freezer would freeze up and I would have to thaw it out in order for the refrigerator to cool properly. This company came out on 7/30/2020. They thawed out the freezer as I had done in the past, cleaned the coils, and said they changed the Defrost Relay. The cost was $256.00. This past Sunday the wall was frozen again and my Refrigerator was not cooling. I called David on Sunday and Monday. Each day I had a new excuse why he could not get out. After he promised to call me back twice and did not, I got him to guarantee that he would her between 8 am and !0 am. He did not show and he did not return my 4 phone calls today. I took off work to here for him but it does not matter. Additionally be aware of this company. The invoice is handwritten and the technician who wrote it out called this company 911 Appliance Repair. He told me the owner was going to change its name soon. Now his voice mail says Best Local Appliance Repair. I had to call Angie’s list and they tracked his number back to Right Away Appliance Repair. If you look at their add pay attention to the 69.95 service call that they will credit you if you repair it with them. They did that on their receipt. However, they not honoring their 90 day warranty. I just left them a message that I am turning this over to the Ohio Attorney General . Still no call back. Do not use this company.

I could not find a local repair service that was not too booked up, so I called "911 Appliance Repair." He was not on your list, but he came out promptly and did an excellent job of fixing my refrigerator. I had leaking water (from melted ice) in my defroster, and had to replace the defroster. David - service man - was courteous, he brought all the right tools, and knew exactly what was needed to do. I will definitely recommend 911Appliance Repair to my friends, and always call him first, in the future. He was local - in Lebanon, and his price was reasonable.

The repair went fantastic. Dave stayed in touch with me as to his arrival time and immediately went to work upon arrival. I was worried about having a major issue and expense but with his thoroughness, persistence and a with a little luck on my end he found the problem and fixed it. He saved me a lot of money, was very professional and very knowledgeable. Not to mention the price was more than fair. I would definitely hire again and will be recommending to everyone I know. More than worth the call.

THEIR SERVICE PERSON CAME AND WORKED ON MACHINE FOR TWO HOURS AND IT WAS WORKING BEFORE HE LEFT THEN LATER THAT SAME DAY WHEN I WENT TO USE DRYER IT WAS NOT WORKING SO CALLED THE COMPANY AND INFORMED THE OWNER OF THIS & WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT TO LOOK AT IT AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM SO HAD TO HIRE SOMEONE ELSE AND PAY MORE MONEY FOR SERVICE

"I am sorry about this very unlikely instance. I was informed of the situation and had the technician in route the very next day. When the technician called to inform them of his arrival time they refused service and told him they hired someone else. They have not asked for a refund but one will be issued. As a side note, the main issue was a start button that had been pushed in with excessive force causing it to slip out of its proper position. The customer assumed one of his children caused the issue. The technician resolved the issue, explaining the problem would reoccur if they continued to use the dryer in the same manner. The technician also removed the drum and completely serviced the entire dryer at no extra charge. I wish them well and hope their repair was successful. Sincerely, Right Away Appliance Repair!"

I was lucky on a Saturday to catch him before he left the office for a farther-away appointment; since we're both on the west side, he stopped here first. Turns out the fridge had a faulty defrost timer and cold control; he replaced those and cleaned the condenser and coils. (Was I embarrassed when he moved the fridge! I need to clean behind there more often.) Both he and apprentice wore masks and gloves. Courteous, fast service.

I would highly recommend Right Away Appliance Repair. In the midst of the coronavirus lockdown, our Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer stopped working. My husband quickly tried calling a couple of local businesses he found online and had no luck, so I hopped on Angie's list. I sent out a request for quote to probably 5 different companies and David called me within minutes. He asked some questions about the appliance, clearly explained his service fee, and said he'd be out in the evening. Sure enough, he and Chris showed up as promised. They were both very polite and professional and immediately diagnosed the problem. In addition, their rates were very reasonable, especially considering we were in a bind. We will be having them back out to diagnose & fix an issue on our Whirlpool washer.

David showed up when he said, on a same day service call! You don’t find that very often anymore. Diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and had my fridge back to doing what it’s supposed to. Cleaned out the coils, which I haven’t done in how ever many years the fridge has been where it’s at. Explained everything in detail and was in and out. Gave me his phone number in case there are any issues after. I’d recommend David and Right Away Appliance Repair to any home owner in the Cincinnati area.

I submitted a request for a quote thru Angie's List, and David called me about 5 seconds after I hit Submit. He and Chris were on time, took their time to identify the problem and fixed the issue. They were also very personable and took the time to explain what the issue was. David also took the time to explain to me steps I can take to improve the life and quality of the seals on my refrigerator. I would definitely hire them again.

Right Away Appliance Repair did a great job diagnosing and repairing an issue with the ice maker in my refrigerator. David, the owner (along with an assistant), came out and diagnosed an issue with the water valve and ice maker. It was a complex, multiple task job where water would not go to the ice machine due to a wiring issue (some shorted out burnt wires) related to the ice maker. I could not be more impressed with David's workmanship and excellent customer service. He answered every call I made to him (even on a Sunday) and called me back multiple times to keep me up to date on the status of the repair and parts needed to complete the project. We have had issues, in the past, with other repair people and it was nice to work with an ethical professional whose main concern was the satisfaction of the customer and doing a good, thorough job. David warrenties his work/parts and even followed up the day after the repair to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Very impressed and highly recommended!
