Car would not stay started so the tow driver could turn the car in the correct direction. My driveway has an odd shape and akward to move around vehicles, especially when it won't start. The driver turnt the car around on his own and put it on the truck. He was awsome and I will definitely recommend to others. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks

My truck broke down on the way home from work and then wouldn't start. I called Rick based on his good reviews on Angie's List. He was great! He showed up in less than 30 minutes dropped my truck off at the mechanic, took a credit card and emailed me the receipt. All for a very reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more. Will certainly keep his number for future towing.

Arrived at time agreed upon. His price was a little lower than competitors. Polite & professional. Towed my car approximately 3-05 miles to my mechanic's shop.

Everything went smoothly. Easy to speak with, arrived on time. Did a professional job for a great price. Would happily use again if needed.

I communicated with Rick online, initially, explaining my situation. He said it sounded like he could help me and he had access to a flatbed truck which the job would require. He gave me an estimate of cost at that point and said to call him on the day I wanted the service. I called him on a Monday morning and he said he could do it in a couple of hours. When he called back he was on his way over. He has a good GPS, so I didn't even have to give him directions. The job itself went well, even with a couple of complicating aspects to it. Rick is prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. He doesn't seem to be afraid to get involved in the job, as he helped push a motorcycle out of the way and helped push the car into the garage. I plan on using Rick's services again.

After confirming in the afternoon a time to meet at my vehicle we both made our way there from different sides of the city...in rush hour traffic - and Rick beat me there! He had noticed that I had the car raised on a scissor jack and inquired as to why. After I mentioned that the front driver's side tire was flat he proceeded to lower the flatbed under my car and lifted it up so I didn't have to get out the wrench to lower the jack. That saved me some time and, more importantly, some sweat! After arriving at the dealer we inquired as to where to put the car. Inspecting the lot where my car was to go, Rick placed it in a spot front-and-center to the service doors. I should get in easily and quickly in the morning. The price that Rick charged was reasonable. The service was great. I'm going to be seeing this man in the future and look forward to working with him to alleviate any towing related issue I have.

.I called in the morning for a tow. He gave me the price and an approximate time (about an hour to hour and a half from then) and said he would call about 20 min before. The approximate time was right on, he called and the service was performed as expected.

As I said, we were stuck in northern Ky and needed to get our car to somewhere where it could be fixed. We also needed to get a car from our house. Rick was right on it from beginning to final destination. Thanks.

They refused to come out, stating that it wasn't worth their trouble. They couldn't even be bothered to quote a price for service. This is not a professional way to do business, and a company like this doesn't belong on Angie's list.

I appreciated that Rick was able to accommodate my schedule with short notice: I had to leave for an appointment the day he was to pick up my car, so he rearranged his daily tow schedule. He called me when he got to my house to notify me that he was outside with the car. He was professional, efficient and pleasant to do business with. His per-mile charge was a bit pricey, but that is just my opinion; I have not used a tow service in many years and am not really aware of what the going per-mile rate is. As I am very fond of my car, I felt it was in very good hands and that made the price worth it. If I ever need a car towed again, I will call Rick Schaefer.

Thursday evening, I was pulling into a parking spot and didn't see a metal rod sticking up. It went through my radiator - so my van was stranded in Blue Ash (I live in KY) and it was raining. After I arrived back home that night, I called several towing companies from Angie's List. I got some answering machines and some other expensive quotes. Rick was ready to tow that night at a VERY reasonable price. I decided to take care of it in the morning. Rick was waiting at the van when I arrived (and I was early - what promptness). He towed the van all the way down to the repair shop in Erlanger. He was professional, took my credit card, and spoke to the mechanics to explain the problem. He was very polite and presentable. I've added Rick Schaefer's Towing to my contact list in my phone. Whenever I need roadside assistance - this will be the number I will call first.

I checked Angie's List and called several of the tow companies listed. Rick Schaefer's was the 4th company I called. The other places I called were fairly rude, insisted on cash and wanted to charge more + $3/mile. Rick Schaefer, the owner/driver, was courteous and responsive, quoted me a flat rate and was willing to take a credit card. We met him at the car. While he was hooking the car to be towed, a senior citizen stopped to ask for directions. She had gotten lost while looking for a nearby hospital and was a little frazzled. Rick Schaefer was very kind and reassuring to her, helping her to get back on her way.

My car wouldn't start after I went to go vote, so I walked home seven blocks from the polling place and called a local garage. They didn't tow, however, so I asked if they knew of a towing company and they gave me this one. Called and Rick answered, took my address and said he'd see me within a half-hour. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, he pulled up outside my house. He was courteous and friendly, and gave me a ride to my car without charging extra. After towing my car to the garage, he was nice enough to wait while I talked to the folks from the garage and then give me a lift back towards my house--again, no extra charge. While I hope I never need to use him again, I'll certainly call him first if I'm in a jam and need a tow truck.
